It's all in hindsight now, but letting in 8 in your debut, then going on your vlog saying hockey doesn't define you, regardless of how you meant it, pretty much sealed your fate in terms of getting cut. I wish you well trav in your future endeavors and hope you use this vlog to boost you in whatever you decide to do next.

A lot of self help/positive affirmation books being quoted by Trav, a positive outlook is totally fine but also don’t pretend that the past (ie. not cracking a lineup) didn’t happen and that your comments of being a “Pro Goalie” would still be applicable. Trav wanted to be better than he actually was, which is fine and he did play at a higher level which is to be applauded but unfortunately there is just too much competition and he didn’t beat out his peers for the crease

I love seeing you develope as a person. Your mindset has changed which for your goaltending is bad but further on in life is good. To be competitive, you need to play like each game is your last. Your own words shows there is no more fight in that dog (again looking passed hockey is a good mindset but teams aren't looking for perseverance, they are always looking at what can you do for me now). Honestly, if you can get a job with one of the Fed teams as their media and commentator, you will go far and possibly up (is there money in that, i have no idea) That's what my take away is, you've been vlogging so much trying to showcase your goaltending but really your editting has really shown through and you should be proud of that. Whether this is thebplace you wanted to be or not, you are here, be thebwst you ca be in the time you can act (aka always think present). Always pulling for you.

Good thing for your team you showed up for both of those games... oh, that was one game with more than 60 shots against? Still, maybe next time your team will actually get off the bus to play. You stopped 49. It isn't about the shot that got by you, it's all about the shots that you stop after that. You held the line buddy. Only way from there is up. You looked awesome. Made most of those saves look easy because you were tracking and stayed in position against the shot. The majority of the ones (if not all) that went in were not something you or most other goalies had a chance at when it was virtually 5 on 0 since your D wasn't doing their job at all.

Nice video. Well, two suggestions, one is that you get with a different trainer (or just do it on your own) to work on building up your leg strength. If your best barbell squat is 150 lbs (as an example), you want to get to 200 lbs (as an example)., what is the best rep/set combination and weekly leg days will get you to that goal? And if 200 lbs is your actual best squat, then what would it take to get to 250 lbs. 50 pounds increase is an example. Whatever small short term goals would be good to improve your leg strength and quickness. And two, work on your daily stretching to widen your butterfly.

Love how you kept battling. Lots of guys left wide open. You cover a lot of net because you are a big goalie Just my two cents but make sure you are further out to challenge the shooters. Keep the faith it will all come together sooner rather than later.

Good on you for not letting it get to you but it doesn’t matter how you intend it the team will take it at face value what you’re saying and will best case you get traded worst case you get cut which if I was any team in the FPHL I wouldn’t want someone who says that he doesn’t care

I Can't believe what I just watched that was the most worst effect in net. I was shaking my head in disbelieve what was the head coach thinking Trav should have been pulled the rest of the game that's so dispointing to see that many goals let in. definitely Trav will not be playing any games for little bit definitely will be out of the lineup after what the coach saw

A positive mind-set is so important. They say that the most important space out on the ice is the 5" between your ears. You're working that space really well, Trav. A question: Are hockey players mostly salad-dodgers? Just checking. Keep up the good work. Peace out!

You’re platform can always be focused around hockey if if you’re “pro” career is over. You can play beer league and film the games like Bender did. Will just have to come up w other extra content bc you’ll be traveling less. Regardless I’m routing for you man you’re a talented individual in multiple regards.

Hockey is tough, most teams probably don't want the sideshow. Both the side show goalies are free agents right now. I think to succeed you need to pick one or the other, I would pick the other at this point unless you are independently wealthy. Blink and your 40 with nothing saved, it happens quicker than you think. Maybe radio/tv/marketing for a minor league club since you enjoy the sport so much. You had a great effort. If your still trying, there is the UHL starting up from what I hear on my local fb hockey page. They would probably welcome the sideshow. GL2U
