48v Power Wheels over-voltage

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

trying to blow up a power wheels. i thought i burned it up but i think i just drained the batteries and burned up the wiring. i believe it runs the main power through a resistor so i'll take that out.

Don't burn it up. It would make a nice remote controlled vehicle. Imagine video tapping the reactions of people looking at a pink and lavender mini-vehicle with a zombie or a contraption that appears to be a death ray gun mounted on it. Something colored with pink and lavender pastels that is small, but with other menacing characteristics would be so disturbing. There are two motors, so it you cut the axil and separate the wheels, you could steer it like a tracked vehicle and not need other motors for steering a remote controlled vehicle.

  • @RinoaL

i was visting my father a few months back. a couple buddies showed up. after a night of drinking we decided to hook two of these to the back of the f250 with some tow straps. we then proceeded to have a crash derby while being towed through the trails and through the mud bog on my dads property. twas pretty fun till they started to fall apart and the one my friend was 'driving' decided to rip into 8 chunks, sending him flying into a stump, breaking his arm. ended the night at the hospital. always interesting at my dads. the hospital in his tiny town knows us all by what we have broken, burned, or shattered.

it is sad that people throw them away. 9/10 if they don't work it is just a bad switch...can either be cleaned or replaced for around $10. Batteries do cost around $60 for the power wheels brand, but you can get a 12v SLA battery for $25 and just put on whatever connector you like. I got an escalade for free, owner thought the gearboxes were stripped. Just 1 connection on the pedal switch had rotted off, had it running in 5 minutes. You can makes these things look almost new with $5 worth of spray paint.

I give you a lot of credit for the tinkering you do, however I hope you keep your property neater than what shows in the video. Your treasures are your neighbors trash and I'm sure they would rather not look at it. Otherwise, good work and keep tinkering.
