Getting scuba certified was a decision made on a complete whim, but we are so glad we put the time and effort into earning the certification! 🤿🐠 We are now safer and more conscious swimmers, and we can now seek out epic dive sites all around the world as we continue to travel. 🗺 Thank you so much for joining us on the Phi Phi Islands 🌴 and in Thailand altogether 🇹🇭, and we’ll catch in COUNTRY #19 next Saturday! Yay! Diving is a great skill to have for travelers. I grew up in a family of divers, and so many of our travels are based on diving. Thailand is great for diving, so you are already spoiled! If you ever go to French Polynesia, I got plenty of diving recommendations.

The local chef did it perfectly as the salted eggs were not meant to be fried. The egg dish could have been too salty had he fried them.

Great video. Enjoyed the scuba diving. What Claire said is so true, but I have one more thing to add and, that is, whenever one sees a lot of people who learned a new skill, then that means anyone can do it, if they are willing to pay the price. Thanks for explaining what happened to the duck eggs that were coated with salt and termite dust. That Thai cook sure knew how to cook them.

It's so true when you said about thinking of all of the things that can go wrong. My husband and I are hiking Mt. Whitney in August and I got so scared when he told me we got the lottery for it. I'm like omg so many bad things can happen, I had to redirect myself.
