You are the only British tourist whose reports are full of passion and history. I still regret that you have so few subscribers. You know what I'm writing about. The huge sculpture made of inflatable sheet metal on Daliowa Island is the work of Oskar Zięta. The construction of this ultra-light structure is possible thanks to the use of an innovative technology invented by Oskar Zięta - FiDU, i.e. 'Freie Innen Druck Umformung'. It allows for the deformation of elements made of two parts of steel sheet welded together. By 'inflating' with compressed air, metal forms become stable and durable, while maintaining lightness. This work became an artistic manifesto of this innovative technology. The Centennial Hall in Wrocław starred in the film 'The Hunger Games'. The Ballad of Birds and Snakes - the arena of the Hunger Games. An anecdote to the Panorama of Racławice. One of the authors of this painting is Jan Styka. He is known for his religious paintings. Once he fell on his knees in front of a white canvas and screamed loudly. -My God, how am I supposed to paint you?! Here the heavens opened and God spoke: - Styka, don't kneel, just paint me well.

Hi Ben, thanks for this video of your exploration of Wroclaw Poland. Like usual, the footage, your narration and music were all top notch. Seeing cities like Wroclaw Poland show the resilience of the Polish people. After so many of these cities were destroyed in World War II, you would not know by looking at them as they look like a scene out of a Story book. Really enjoyed all of the rich Pastel colors on all of the historic buildings. Glad you caught on film the bullet holes in the concrete of the University as a remembrance of the people that lost their lives there in World War II. Looking forward to hearing about your Channel Membership as I think all of your work is top notch. Hopefully it will be something I can afford, as I would like to support all of the time and energy you put into creating beautiful videos for us to enjoy. Take Care until next video Ben.

I went there in 2018 and accidentally got my flight dates mixed up and spent an extra day there after turning up at the airport at 5am to find the flight wasn’t until the next day (easy mistake to make when you’ve been travelling for 2 weeks). Ended up going back into the city but decided I couldn’t go to the cheap hostel again because the owner had drove me to the airport and it would have looked weird if I’d gone back 😂
