I can’t believe me and my husband have been there too!! All the way from the UK in 2013. That beach is stunning. Thanks for the extra facts. We had a boat trip on the Daintree river as well. Such a beautiful area. Takes me back. Thanks for sharing your adventures. 🇬🇧😀

Was there with the family in October, a truly world wonder. The only thing that got to us , is that the beautiful beaches were empty and worst still you could not swim in them, because too many things in the water that can eat you.Other than that it was Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!.. You need to take the van up there and sleep under the rainforest and be 3 meters from the beach, that will take you to the next level...

😮 wow , we camped on that beach in 1979 , and there was nothing there but a road and the beach 🏝, drove on to the beach ( Ford XB 302 Ute 2wd , ) where you walked on that platform walkway , turned to the left , drove up the beach for a few hundred yards then in under the canapé. We were 1 of only 4 campers there ! Was and still is our most favourite camp in Qld 😎👍 sad to see so much development, but , 🤷‍♂️ got to share it 👍

Can't be bothered going through all the comments, but that vine is called a WAIT-A-WHILE if no one mentioned it. (Smilax australis (lawyer vine, austral sarsaparilla, barbwire vine, or " wait-a-while ") is a vine in the family Smilacaceae, endemic to Australia. It has prickly climbing stems that are up to 8 metres long with coiled tendrils that are up to 20 cm long).
