Salar de Uyuni has changed a lot since 1998 when I was there. We did one night in tents with the group and I woke up at 4 AM 😄 It`s an amazing spot on this earth. Ok, have fun on your trip!

Hi! We figured you had been here. We wanted to camp out but it was astronomically expensive. Did you go during the months of jan-feb? We just landed in Kenya so our africa series is about to start!

Superb video. Love your energy. Did you stay overnight at the same hotel and take tour from the hotel each day? Any recommendation on tour company? Planning to go in August.

When you book a tour they usually offer a hotel stay in the price. We decided to book our own accommodations since the hotel they provided wasn’t to our liking (almost hostel like). They picked us up the first day from the hotel we mentioned in the video. The second night we stayed in another Salt hotel for one quarter of the price and the room was double the size. As far as which company you should take. They all offer very much the same thing. We had someone quote us 2k usd and when looked at it it was very similar to the thing we got for 400usd.
