48 hours in Île de Ré, an island off the Atlantic coast of France, near La Rochelle 🇫🇷
Welcome to the beautiful island of Île de Ré, a charming and quaint island, full of white washed houses and their pastel coloured shutters. Join me as we explore the villages and picturesque harbours, and generally take in the sights of this exquisite little island of France 🇫🇷
We had just 48 hours on the island, so we didn’t manage to see and do everything, but I hope you get a feel for the place and can immerse yourself amongst the hollyhocks on the cobbled little streets.

It's a pity that you didn't show the fantastic beauty of sunsets, tides in the ocean, oyster farms with tasting restaurants, and what fantastic bakeries and chocolates in La Flotte!!!!

Those cobble stoned path ways and fishing villages are wonderful!, you never miss out on vines and bushes of colourful flowers. Thank you so much for sharing those.

OMG - this island is beautiful!!! The market in the beginning would have bankrupted me - between the gorgeous jackets (yep, you should have bought one - LOL), the straw baskets and totes, the food and pastries (my weakness), I'd have drained my bank account! The cohesive colors of the doors and shutters make everything flow so nicely. Everywhere the eye lands is lovely. The cobblestone streets remind me of the island of Nantucket, Massachusetts, here in the U.S. (my favorite place in our country thus far). And, yes, heels would be a major problem while navigating those stones. The beach at sunset was truly the icing on the cake. Thank you sooo much for sharing your trip with us! P.S. Your editing and music selections are top notch!

Ah Heather 😊🤗 you’re so lovely, thank you 🙏🏼 and thank you for watching. Yeah I’m seriously regretting that jacket haha there’s none here in the UK like it…. I hope to visit the US one day, so I’ll put Nantucket on the top of my list… in fact I might go and see if there’s a KZread video I can watch about it now 😂
