48 Hours in Batumi, Georgia!! (Full Documentary) Adjarian Khachapuri and Attractions Tour!

Back in the summer of 2021, I took the trip of a lifetime to the Republic of Georgia. This small country in the Caucasus region that bridges Europe and Asia is an incredible destination for culture and food! While I was there, I spent 48 amazing hours in Batumi, the country’s second largest city!
During my time in this beautiful seaport, my guide Tim took me to all of his favorite places, from incredible restaurants in the heart of the city to tiny, rustic Adjarian villages. And, of course, I got to dine on some rich, hearty Adjarian cuisine!

From fresh seafood right on the Black Sea; to a massive, cheesy khachapuri made for six people; to a scrumptious and rich Adjarian feast outside the city, I fell in love with the cuisine from this incredible region of Georgia.
But enough of me talking about Batumi. Let me show you Batumi. Come with me as I embark on an amazing 48 hours exploring the beautiful city of Batumi, Georgia!

one advice to people visiting Georgia, please do not compare georgia with Turkey or Russia even if they are located close , they have different mentality culture and traditions! I have learned that after many years living there , they might not say anything to you as a guest in their country but they dont like to be compared!

Thank you again " Davidsbeenhere" for your great work/ video......One of the clients, originally from Italy, with higher education, hearing that my brother is Georgian, said about the Georgians: Ah, our cousins, and this is absolutely true 🇬🇪 🇮🇹 Thing is that, Georgians in Georgia ( Caucasus) , Etruscans, Sardinians in Italy (Etruscans, who, along with others also lived on the territory of the kingdom of Kolkhida in the western part of Georgia by the Black Sea), Corsicans in Corsica, Picts in Britain, Spanish Iberians in Spain and other European people have same ethno, ethnic origin, Georgians are related to those peoples of Europe who have both Iberian and Celtic ethnic origins. Also, so for centuries and millennia between the ancestors of the Georgians and the Romans, after the Eastern Romans, there were closely mixed ethno-cultural relations, which also accordingly affected the genetic level of the peoples of the Georgians and Italians (Also, the ancestors of the Georgians lived not only in the territory of Georgia, but also in other parts of Europe, South-East Europe, also, the ancestors of the Georgians, along with other peoples of the Black Sea and Mediterranean regions, are also one of the creators of the Mediterranean civilization in those ancient historical times and so on. ), which is proved by history, respectively life itself, proved at the level of genetics (proved genealogically in different periods of time, including the director of the Zurich Genealogical Center R. Scholz), archeology, cultures, culture and so on., accordingly proven by life itself, and this is why all these listed peoples ( together with originality of each of these ethno, ethnic peoples) have similarities, identical in different forms of culture, in folk music, dance, in ancient architectural style and so on. Georgian cultures/culture of different historical times (including modern times) are European ( together with their own culture/ cultures, influences with different European cultures, beginning from ancient times, influences with ancient Greek civilizations, cultures, with Roman cultures, later with East Roman/Byzantine culture, with Catholic Europe and other European cultures during all historical periods in history of Georgians, Georgia, subsequently, among other European cultures, having the closest relationship also with Russian culture) and so on. Sincerely, Alex ( Also, as a historian by profession)

What a beautiful place with so much history and culture. All the food looked so delicious since everything was local and freshly-made. All that cheese and butter, wow!!! The buildings were so beautiful to look at and I wish you had shown the statue of the couple in motion to see how they intertwined with one another. If anyone wants to see it in motion, go on KZread and check it out. It's amazing to watch. I can't believe you both drank so much beer. At the end, the two of you looked really, really buzzed: surprised that you two could walk straight. 🤣🤣🤣 This one was really enjoyable because there were so many interesting things to see. Too many to itemize. So well done David. I hope that your Kenya trip is going well. Take care, safety always.🙏🕊️🇹🇹🇨🇦
