You might know this place for the Roman-built baths it’s named after, but there’s much more to it. From grand Georgian architecture to an incredible modern food scene and excellent independent craft and vintage shops, there’s no shortage of things to do in Bath.

    The high street is a little more attractive than most but it's when you go up into the suburbs in the surrounding hills you realise what a stunning city Bath is, in every direction

    There's also a Topping & Co in Ely in Cambridgeshire. Definitely worth making a trip to, if you're passing. It's one of my fave bookshops!

    Awh thank you! I’d say you can just book tickets the day before on Trainline app ☺️ The UK sometimes has disruptions with trains so best to book closer to the time!

    Hi! I am 33 and traveling to England for the first time on a solo trip! I have 7 nights..do you think Bath would be a great home base? Right now all my plans are the april 24th full moon over the seven sisters hopefully hehe

    We stayed at Henrietta House - good value for money and location, but it does feel a little bit old/outdated. Depends on what you’re looking for :)
