475. Gorgeous Straight Pour!! Summer Rewind Series!

Hi all! I'm home from PourCon in Las Vegas! What a wonderful, tremendous event! I'm am lucky to have escape the COVID curse, but did discover that what I thought was a sprained ankle is actually broken! My dog Finn bolted while on lead that I took a nasty fall. I'm not sure when I can paint in my studio again (navigating the stairs to a second floor studio probably isn't a good ideal); so for now, please enjoy this older, repurposed video where I am not happy with a flip and lip design and opt for a straight fluid art pour instead. I was really happy with the final results, and if memory serves, this piece sold rather quickly.
Because this is an older video, the colors/brands and pouring medium recipe comes up on the screen rather than here in the description section. Hopefully in a few days I will be able to paint in my kitchen and go over my newer recipe for the Grandma's Flip Cup class I taught at PourCon. In the meantime, enjoy the video and I look forward to your comments!

Oh my gosh! I’ve been trying to convince my pouring partner that we should resin our wooden stir sticks. Glad to know I’m not crazy with that idea.

So sorry you have an injury Hope you get well real soon Early in this summer I fell and crushed 2 vertebra in my spine. I know how debilitating any break can be. I am still wearing a full . brace when moving about as I heal. I sure hope you feel better soon

No prior to PC. It wasn’t sprained it was broken!
That was super super fun to watch… And you haven’t changed you just gotten better if that’s even possible because you’re fabulous… That turned out amazing too. It was fun watching it and I like that your hubby came in and said crack open a bottle of wine… I’m the wine drinker in our family and my hubby is more of a beer drinker But once a while he’ll break down with me and have a glass 🍷🍺 I’m rambling now…It’s fun to watch you create your magic Looking forward to the PourCon stuff !! Ps..I Love the idea of resining the stir sticks… do you still do that?
