Anyone else notice the minigame win theme for the MP2 minigames use the team win theme, rather than the standard win theme?

@@gamemassacre1251 Some wnated this to be DLC for SMP, but I feel like the game is too different. No starush mechanics Everything is scaled up again Bowser probably isn’t playable anymore. This game is actually playable on switchlite unlike SMP.

Doubtful but the Pink Yoshi sticker in the JP trailer makes me think alt skins may be a thing. That, or they're bring back Yoshi's Tropical Island.

Going to make a somewhat early prediction on the other 3 boards: Rainbow Castle from 1 (second choice is the eternal star) Horror Land from 2 (second choice is mystery land) Waluigi Island from 3 (second choice is dusty desert). Probably the least likely would be: -Luigi’s Engine Room (simple gimmick and it’s not the year of Luigi anymore) -Wario’s battle canyon (Mystery Land is just a better version) -Chilly Waters (kind of visually plain to me, and the only real gimmick is the ice) -Deep Bloober Sea ( No real gimmick aside from being launched to the rocks, and considered a pretty generic board).

Sure enough, it’s there on mine too! Kind of weird that they made it the thumbnail when it wasn’t in the reveal trailer. I guess if I have to remove one from my list I’d say the rainbow castle, but I probably called everything dead wrong anyway 😅

I've seen people refer to it as The Top 100 with N64 mini games, boards and gameplay and with the look of Super Mario Party.

@@lol-ih1tl I meant Mario Party Superstars, it seems like it has mostly N64 minigames.

Only 2 bonus stars and they’re randomized? Boo. I like the Minigame/Coin/Happening group way better because it gives the game so much strategy. I hope there’s an option to change it to classic bonus stars.

Mario Party Legacy, this is Mario Party Superstars, three years apart from Super Mario Party. It comes out on October 29th, 24 days apart from Super Mario Party's release.

Heres a suggestion since bonus stars are random... maybe it could tell us what they are at the start or something. (Can have an option to turn this off if people don't like it). The reason I suggest this is cause the beauty of the old bonus star system is that they were something to work towards. They added a layer of depth to the game, whilst still being luck based, cause of the happening star award for instance. Random is fine until they give something bogus like least amount of spaces moved or stuff like that.

I'm concerned about those lucky spaces. there's way too many of them and they give a lot of coins for how common they are. The golden pipe also looks too cheap still.

I agree with everything minus the golden pipe price. Time will tell when I play it, but 25 coins for the pipe is only 5 coins less than the usual standard price for something like the magic lamp in the older games. I don’t think that’s a big deal.

I hope they add miis as playable characters

The speed although slightly better still looks kinda slow…maaan, really only 5 boards though? Why does nintendo half ass everything.

I feel like there should have been 6 like MP 2-8. Tho maybe there might be more dlc support. Hopefully. Tho I don’t consider this half assed. All the issues I had with SMP is finally fixed it seems.
