45 Epic Battle Ropes Exercises You MUST Try - Renton Gym

Спорт

www.VigorGroundFitness.com
Battling Ropes are a great conditioning tool and they are
a fun way to ad in some energy system work at the end of
training sessions (or make them a full blow conditioning
session in under 15 minutes).
Do you really need to know 45+ variations?
Nope. Just three will do but variety is the spice of life and
who doesn't like to ad and try more challenging variations.
If you make training fun then it's easier to make a habit.
Pick and choose and start with 20 seconds of work, 40
seconds of rest - for 10 rounds (make sure you put in maximal
effort in the 20 seconds).
Some other interval times that work great.
15/15
15/20
20/20
30/30
10/10
10/20
If you make it too long of an interval then the quality and power
goes down and it can become sloppy.
Pick and choose and get to work!
If you're committed to making a transformation and need a
proven program with thousands of success stories then

Thanks for the variation of exercises. Started to use the ropes at the gym, really liked the intensity of the work out. Bought one today to incorporate this in the touch rugby training that I teach every week.

The ropes are durable and just like the ones at the gym. kzread.infoUgkxTFxba6lNeHrZaHoY_LXe6ZzmMfaipnwu Caution: I bought the 50 feet ropes and they are long and heavy so make sure you have the space (I do have the space). If I was to do it again I would probably get a shorter version as 50 feet (25 feet each side) is a little long.

You are the GOAT for this. You provided variety, listed the names of the exercises, and made a short video. I wish in the description you wrote explanations of the how-to part. We can watch you of course. But I like to jot down the explanations in my notes so when I'm ready to do the routine I can make sure my form is great. Also, if I'd like a friend to join me, I'd like to able to explain the exercise to them.

I recently added battle rope to my routines. I love it, thanks for ur ideas. I may add few of my own here if you can visualize it: 1- Behind the back wave (regular grip or hammer grip) 2 - Bicep Curl-shake, 3- Reverse bicep curl-shake I normally use 2 side of ropes to 2 that, then drop set it to 1 rope for more rep, BTW My elbow stayed bent most of the time with this, not actually bicep curl like dumbbell curl. I keep elbow bent and swing the whole arm up as if in shaking up motion, and the edge of my palm goes up. Hope you can understand my description. Cheers. I love Armwrestling, that's why the idea came out like that. Many of my rope motion are done with elbow bent as in AW. Still, straight arm works the wrist as well
