Because a decent percentage men who play poker are creepy degenerates which is a big reason why so few women play poker in the first place

there are fewer women in poker so there will be a lower absolute number of outliers (extremely good players) so it would mean the number of women competing at the top level is very low. I assume women's events are to bring more recognition to women in poker.

Ur same comment gets made for every ladies event. With the same correct response given about less ladies play. I say fine with me to have a men’s only championship probably very similar to the coed ones. Chill out and enjoy the game every way it’s played

Men are allowed to enter the women's championship if they want if you really don't know that. It's just frowned upon but one guy actually made the final table a few years back I believe and got blasted by everyone. Personally I don't see the problem with it, it's it like men have some biological higher capability to play poker than women...I honestly don't even know why they made a women's league... unless it was just to get more women to play, in which case I'm okay with.

How'd I know almost every comment would be bitching about there being a women's league smh. Just so you all know, these tournaments don't refuse men to play in them...they just have to pay more to get in I believe. A man made the final table in one of these a few years ago and I don't see the problem with it honestly. It's not like men are biologically programmed to be better at poker than women. If you wanna do this league to entice more women to play, cool. Just don't have a problem with it when men pay more to play with women and happens to actually win some money...they could just as easily lose and not make money like many do.
