43K Miles - 1953 Kaiser Manhattan Sedan - Frankman Motors Company - Walk around and Driving Video
Our 1953 Kaiser Manhattan came to us out of a father & son private collection in Omaha, NE. Originally purchased in Denver, CO.
It is in great condition. At 43K miles, it was treasured, and enjoyed.
Serviced and inspected it is ready to be just as thoroughly enjoyed by the new owners!
Kaiser was a passenger car company that later got bought out by AMC in 1970, due in part that they simply couldn't keep up with the big 3.
Kaiser-Frazer's Manhattan's made up a good portion of the company's sales in the post WW2 years, and their style, proven mechanicals and enthusiastic club support make them truly underrated, and worthy collectibles today.

Memory line, Grandpa favorite car and his love for blue. Beautiful car! 👍👍
My dream ! ... from Fort Worth, Texas
Love the Kaisers. Grandfather had one and pops used to talk about the Manhattan. Both ahead of their time and out of sync with the big car makers. I would love to have a Manhattan or Dragon😂
What a loverly car
What a score!
Very cool. I just picked up a barn find 53 Manhattan and I will use this video for reference while I fix her up.
My 1954 Kaiser Special, early series, was originally a leftover, unsold '53 Manhattan that Kaiser reequipped with the '54 grill and "Safety Glow" tail lights. Mine was 3 speed and overdrive. Same interior including the simulated bamboo padded dash. The "true" '54 models had a different dash and wraparound rear glass.
They were not a bad looking or driving car. That little Continental forklift engine just did not cut it with customers.😎

Really nice car. It must have been expensive back in the day. The only reason I can think of why it didn't sell better and Kaiser Frazer didn't last. I qould have bought that ove upper market cars if I could. And if I were born earlier.
Adjust those valves! Way too much clatter for a flathead.

kinda styled like the Darrin
What's the fastest she can cruise at? Could it handle an interstate?

I love Kaisers, but that clear vinyl "upholstery" is tacky tacky.
