My grandfather has one at his house but the motor housing is slightly different, and it has the moon/bat looking blade brackets. It's not a Hampton Bay Rockport though. I think yours might be a later or earlier version of the Contempra.

These are childhood to me. My grandfather has one. I think it was installed in the 90s, and it's still there. He used to have an SMC Emperor as well, but replaced it with a Kmart Alaska in like 2013.

That little stencil is also cool, it kinda forms a correct circle when the fan spins.

That is the Encon "Contempra" 42" diameter blade sweep ceiling fan. It was likely manufactured in the early 1990's in Zhongshan, China (Guangdong Province) and it was unit-packed together with the prismatic dome light kit.

3 speeds is definitely enough. 3 or 4 speeds is definitely enough for me.
