Allama Mukhtar Shah Naeemi was born in Lahore Pakistan; his father Allama Pir Talib Husain Shah (May Allah send mercy upon him) was also very popular Khateeb in Pakistan.
Allama Naeemi completed his primary and secondary education in Jamia Naeemiyah Lahore. He graduated with a B.A from the University of Punjab, after which he was accepted as a student at the Islamic Naeemiyah University. After completing B.Ed, from Allama Iqbal University Islamabad, he graduated with a MA from the College of Hadith and Islamic Sciences Tanzeem-ul-Madaaris Karachi and MOL Muslim oriental law. Thereafter, he completed a M.A. in Islamic Theology from the Punjab University. Allama Dr. Sefaraaz Naeemi Motivated him to get Islamic Knowledge, so Allama Dr. Sarfarz Naeemi Shahid was his First teacher .Dr sahib taught him Arabic Morphology and Arabic syntax. Allama Mukhtar shah Naeemi Ashrafi started to deliver lecture when he was 19 years old and in 1998 he went to Dubai for speech. He did Umrah in 1998 and in 1999 he performed Hajj by Road. He gave speeches in Makah and Madinah. In June of 1999, the American Muslim of New York invited him to give speech on Milad Jaloos. Next year in June of 2000, Allama Naeemi Again Invited for lecture, giving lectures in New York, New Jersey, Virginia, North Carolina, charlotte, Michigan, California san Francisco, live oak, Chicago, Florida, Dallas And Houston. So Houstonians requested him to stay permanently. Since September 7, 2000 till now (September 7th 2012) he has been in one mosque named MASJID Ghous-e Azam Humble for 12 years (It is Allah's mercy).
He visited many countries to propagate Islam including, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Canada (Calgary, Toronto and Montreal), Germany, Greece, Switzerland, Austria, Turkey, and Oman and continues to visit more.

Spiritual guidance:-
First Khalifah he received from His Father Pir Talib Husain Shah (May Allaah send mercy on him) this ceremony was held in Nonariyan(Multan road Lahore) and at that time a popular speaker named Syed Yaqoob Shah of Phaliyah gave Jubbah Cloak to Allama Naeemi. Second Pir Syed Raza Shah Gilani of Pir Kot Shareef (May Allaah send mercy on him) gave khilaafat to Allama Mukhtar shah Naeemi Ashrafi.
Third Sheikh Ul Islam Allama Pir Syed Madni Miyan Sajjadah Nasheen Astana Aaliyah Kachocha Shareef India gave khilaafat to Allama Mukhtar Shah Naeemi on August 26, 2001 in America. Fourth Pir Tareeqat Teacher of Teachers Hazrat Allama Zubair Naqshbandi Malki Attaasi Alvee Gave Khilaafat to Allama Mukhtar shah, in 2008.
Activities
In America Masjid Ghouse Azam Houston Allama Mukhtar Shah Naeemi Ashrafi started his career on September 7, 2000 and with the mercy of Allaah he is still there propagating Islam day and night. He has given lectures for 10 years (till February 2013) on the radio before Maghreb Azaan. In Ramadan Allama sahib gives 90 lectures: one during the morning on the radio, second before Maghrib Azaan on the radio and third after Taraaveeh at the mosque and by end of the Month of Ramadan, the total reaches to at least 90 lectures. Till June 2013, 36 people have accepted Islam through him.

It's not too important where Rumi was from Afghanistan or Iranian. He was a great contribution to humanity and even in his poems he shows that we are all equally in origin all of us are from Devine love nationality is not all there is. What he is stressing is deeper,deeper then this materialistic world we should appreciate people like him a great soul who's mission was to show that we are all connected with each other whether we like it or not this is up to us. @Yousef Ghaneemah Rumi was born almost 400 years after the Persian General Râdmân pur Mâhak kicked the Arabs out of Iran. He is also known by the Abbasids as Ya'qub Leyth Saffâri.

دل بدست آور کہ حج اکبرست از ھزار کعبہ یک دل بہترست کعبہ بہ بنیاد خلیل آز رست دل گزر گاہ جلیل اکبرست ترجمہ: اے انسان اگر تیرا دل تیرے قابو میں ھے تو یہ بہ معنی تیرے لیے حج اکبر کے ھے. ایسے ھزار کعبوں سے تیرے دل کا کعبہ بہتر ھے. اس لٸے کہ کعبے کی فضیلت تو یہ ھے کہ اسکی بنیاد حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام نے رکھی. جبکہ تیرے دل کا کعبہ اللہ جل شانہ کی گزر گاہ ھے. (فرمان الہی: ھم تیری شہ رگ سے بھی قریب ہیں). (مثنوی مولاۓ روم سے ماخوز)

Subsequently we completed 41 lectures today, Many thanks for your sincere efforts which you are making to explore Aulia Allaha's life in this part of time when Tasawwuf is almost extincted. After watching all your lectures, I can say, really I know, about Aulia Allah's life and their aim of life. As you always say; Molvi is not complete unless he fall-in Tasawwuf. Totally agreed with you and i would like to say that Islam is not complete without Tasawwuf or in other words Tasawwuf is real face of Islam. Last word......quite effective lectures to bring us in spiritual Islam.

Rumi is an inspiration for all humanity, Rumi was Hanafi from Balkh province, he is known by Maulana Jalaluddin Balkhi, Rumi and Mawlawi. Iran's original Fars are Shia and the rest of ethnic groups like Turks, Arabs, Baloch and Azari are Sunni. When I hear the name Alama Eqbal Lahori I feel the same way as he belongs to the entire Muslim world and beyond.

Muslims are ONE ummah as prophet pbuh mentioned and Great scholars are an equal asset to everyone. As the prophet peace be upon him said, there is no discrimination based on whether someone is Arab or non-Arab, black or white etc. So please let us follow the teachings of these great scholars and not use foul language on this forum as a mark of respect for them.

So respect Iranian if you gaining knowledge of Rumi, show a little respect to city "Tibrez" of Iran...Thanks Tabrez for "Shams Tibizi" & thanks "Shams Tibizi" for splendid poetry of MoLana Jallaluddin Rumi.....Great students must need great teachers..."Shams Tibizi" wasn't king but he made Rumi a king of knowledge....
