Tnq for this video. In case 4, while calculating the reserve, what if there were bad debts in the trial balance?...would the 5% be calculated after deducting the trial balance bad debts also or simply after the deduction of additional bad debts only ?

Hi ma'am how to treat if reserve for bad debts is given in trial balance credit side and have bad debts written off in debit side. We do have one adjustment for the same as make a reserve of 5% on debtors got bad and doubtful debts. Pls advise ma'am
