This is 403, Thank you very much for your help.
I know it's a little late for that, but we're pleased to announce the first official video for the 20th anniversary of the 403 project, "Southern Cross".
For a long time now, many fans have been asking us why the 403 doesn't upload their songs to KZread as official videos. I've been asked to do this for a long time, but I'd like to take this opportunity to reveal some of my work to the public, so please help me out!
This time, the 403 member (now 36 years old) was illustrated by Mi-ya-san, the creator of the famous Flash animation "Nightmare City" ( / miyasuke1 !
The backdrop is also sacred to Nightmare City, so if you know about it, you'll be impressed.
I actually released Southern Cross in September 2003. That means it was 17 years ago. So I wanted to release it this month, so I made it (or got it done) in time.
I'm very proud of the fact that this song was used in various works such as "Ugo Memo", "BouNingen" and New Year's Day 2019 that made its terrestrial wave debut on NHK, and it's been listened to by many people over the past 17 years. As an author, I'm really happy for you. I have nothing but gratitude.
By the way, at the time of publication (403 @ 19 years old), here's what I had to say about it

The theme of the lyrics is the same as in 'Northern Lights', which is also about living, but this time there is a different theme. When I was writing the lyrics, I was in the summer or fall of my third year of high school, just before the examinations. So everyone who heard it said, "Let's go for it! The lyrics are designed to make you feel like (maybe)
In the last chorus of the song, "......" and here is your own "answer" to the question of fate.

2003年 受験生への応援歌としてオリジナルが、2011年 3.11への復興の応援歌として2011ver.が もうそんなに時間が流れたんだなって。 年老いた時じゃなくても、今でもわかる、この楽曲に出会えたことは一生の宝物です。

昔は空耳で笑ってたけれど、 たまたま見つけて聞いたらめちゃくちゃかっこよくて、元気貰える歌でした！

Oh my God. My teen years, browsing 4chan in 2007, playing Stepmania, discovering many anime, Touhou, so many good years of fun... And thanks to Nightmare City this song has always been there, a part of that. I did and still do listen to it regularly in search of motivation, and it helps me every time. And now it's back, officially. Thank you, 403. You've inspired so many.

小3ぐらいのときにフラッシュみてドハマりして、高校までずっと聴いてた。 まだ早いかもしれないけど20歳になって色々と人生について考えてたら、無性に後悔だけ頭をめぐって出来ることなら何も人生に不安を感じることがなかった頃に戻りたいとずっと願ってた。 そんな中でたまたまこの曲を聴いたけど、過去は変えられないが未来に進んでいるっていう歌詞が本当に身に沁みました。
내 어릴적 추억을 담당하는 노래....
가수분들과 일본인이 알지는 모르지만, 이 곡은 한국에서 엄청 유명합니다. 이 노래를 들리는대로 한국어로 발음하는 플레시 영상이 유행을 했고 현재 20대~30대초반 한국인은 거의 이 노래를 알고 있다고 해도 무방한 정도입니다. 초등학생때 추억이 되살아나네요.

치코리타 우치하 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 그때 당시엔 웃겨서 듣던 노래가 취준하다 너무 힘들때 '즐거운 노래라도 듣자' 싶어서 오랜만에 들었는데, 가사 뜻을 그때 처음으로 알고 감동과 위로를 받았던 기억이 있네요...ㅋㅋ

最初見た時は学生でとにかく歌い方がカッコいいなと思って漠然と聴いていたけど 大人になって歌詞の意味が分かってから聴くと歌詞の良さに衝撃を受けた名曲 リメイク版も聞いたけどどちらも本当に好き…いつも辛い時に聴いて「運命は君を試している」という歌詞に勇気を貰っています

The fact that you used the color-based light instruments and locations from Nightmare City (The city streets, the border wall, the bridge, hell, even the pods) took me on a nostalgia trip like few times i've had For that and for being in my life since i discovered this song and Northern Lights back in 2005 i have to say, thank you.
