My gf owned one definitely gives the 8th gen si a run for it’s money as far as torque around town im an 8th gen owner she now has an AP1 S2k in which I love to drive 😂

I owned both the 8th gen (for like 6 years from new) and i now own a 9th gen. the 9th gen is by far the better daily driver, its softer and has a much better interior. with that being said, the 8th gen was no slouch as far as a daily, but it had no torque. I see why honda made the change, but in terms of performance, honestly they are about the same. its like the ap1 vs ap2. but do a head swap, rsx oil pump, and rbc, and you are right there with an 8th gen as far as the visceral feeling. they are really quite similar

Personally I like the 8th gen si better I have owned a 9th gen and the torque was nice but I love the build up on the 8th gens and i just bought a 8th gen again it's the fastest I have owned it is 280hp n/a and it's so much fun

This is the exact build I want to do. This boost set up is almost Bulletproof, plus it sounds like a turbo while performing like a supercharger. I love it. It's just super expensive

So when i got my 9th gen si , i thought i was crazy for thinking it has some torque steer when merging in highways, i cant imagine how this would be for you… hahah would love to see a mod list for this car !

What clutch and injectors are you using for that power? im boosted and running 2200 cc injectors and competition twin disc and feel like its over kill, im full E and pushing 15 psi so im around 450-470 whp

I have to move my selector in to next week for each shift. I like the super short throws you have. Each time you shift looks like I would just be moving my car out of gear in to neutral. Its a 6 speed Honda also.

I’ve always dreamed of owning and modding a si, ended up getting a 2020 si after a few years which is a ticking time bomb due to the clutch getting worse and that’s a slight 2k+ dollar job after labor which sucks ass. Honestly may sell and get a 9th gen si so I can finally do what I’ve always wanted to do

Get an 8th If you want a car you can build up.(motor responds better to bolt ons) The 9th is capable of good hp but it’s more $ for sure. Makes for a better dd tho if you can swing it!

The 9th gens just sound different and rev just a bit lower but have more torque. The 8th gen is not necessarily superior it's just designed a little different but definitely not faster, they're really about the same

As an 8th gen si and AP1 S2k owner I can confirm this , my gf had a 9th gen si (white) red interior which she traded for another AP1 S2k n all I can say is those 9th gens r a blast n I honestly miss it

@@eliancastillo726 the vr6 2.8 is stock. Stock ECU no tune. Just alot of nitrous . It's on a 150 shot dry single nozzle with a deatchwerks 450 fuel pump a hotwire to the fuel pump and a Bosch style adjustable fuel pressure regulator to bump the base fuel pressure up to 85 psi on the 150 shot and 97 psi when upped to a 175 shot. That's it. Colder heat range plugs .
