Wow, 4000 records! That’s amazing, I’ve just got into collecting records again as 2 secondhand record shops have opened up near me and I’m always looking in charity stores. I’ve only got about 100 records, 80 or so collected from charity stores. I love it, can’t wait to check out the stores for another record. One of my favourite recent finds is Art Garfunkel’s 1973 release of Angel Clare

It’s an addiction for sure. Flipping through records gives me a moment of Zen. And if you can get a good deal that’s all the better. I have that Garfunkel album. It’s a good one. I really like his Scissors Cut album, Thanks for watching and commenting. Happy hunting!

OMG!!!! Rick and Records - I’ve been pining for your return. I missed the Vinylarium!!! Don’t leave me again - I’m insecure!!! Lol. Seriously, missed you. You have a good system - you rotate so you hit them all. I haven’t heard Western Stars - cover looks great. I like Fred Neil - Nilsson, whom I LOVE, covered him. You and Aaron MA and a few others keep recommending Clutch - I need to jump on the Clutch train. Frontiers brings me back to high school - the arcade game!!!! Love Bat Outta Hell - love dueting Paradise by DL at karaoke - you down??? So glad you’re back. I haven’t heard that Styx - I’m inspired to check it out.

Some records i own popped up in your list, that i enjoy. I do like Springsteens " Western Stars "as well, i also have the album of the film ,that has his version of " Rhinestone Cowboy " on it. That Styx is very good as well, and Iron Maiden has to be on there somewhere. Not sure of my top played, i have less records than you, but swap them out all the time. New to your channel .Guz talked about you, subbed you as well. Great video!

Lol! I see you had the same thought I had. Most spun in what time frame? I went 12 months. Really dig that StarCrawler album. Love Clutch...but only have Earth Rocker on vinyl so far. Can't go wrong with any Maiden in my opinion...just some better than others. Similarly in my most spun, not necessarily my faves, but I spin the debut most lately. Great list man. Good to see a new vid from you Rick. Cheers bud. 🍻✌️🤘🎶🤘

Rick Rick Rick. I am the ghost of religious holidays past, you haven’t bothered to make a video because no one is watching. Here’s a tip from the past, Midnight Cowboy … Urban Cowboy was Travolta, he sang in Grease. Electric Cowboy was a Robert Redford movie that bombed and has been forgotten as it should be. Why is no one watching, hear me out, Nightcrawler, Iron Maiden, obscure Springsteen, Clutch, Fred Neil … that’s where I detrained. You’re appealing to the thinnest of niches out there, no mainstream listener can identify with any of that, is that what you’re shooting for? It’s Bohemian, but with no rhapsody, it’s you and a few buddies in a Village coffee house snapping fingers. You’re listening a lot to a Springsteen western album, Bruce doesn’t play that album, ever. As a child, you didn’t find your love for music by listening to Clutch, I know you didn’t. What were you listening to? What concerts did you attend as a teen? What was playing the 1st time you kissed a girl? Roots man, those would be your roots, over in the weeds there are no roots. Here’s a challenge … remake this top 10 video … stay out of the weeds … go back to your roots man. Also, bring the camera down to eye level, maybe even an up angle. Your lighting makes the video misty or foggy, and the shot needs to be tighter on you. We can’t tell what you’re holding up, it’s an album no doubt, but it’s cover is a mystery. I’m only critiquing, no bash intended, you moved through your picks at a great pace without making me listen to a Rolling Stone record guide dissertation. That’s good. But you’ve got to broaden your fan base, you’re purposefully playing to a tiny niche, the king of the nerds doesn’t get many likes. Don’t take that wrong, it’s from a movie, maybe Bachelor Party … who knows. Even if you stick with your style … redo the vid as volume II … get out of the box just to say you tried it. Peace $ Love man, see how I accidentally on purpose substituted the dollar sign for the ampersand, that’s a hidden subliminal kick in the ass. Good luck Rick
