    My ex friend lives in northern cali and paid 3k for his 4 bedroom house with a 2 door garage, lawn, fencing, backyard, one room is an office and 2 living rooms. The kitchen is small but 3k for all that is sounding a lot cheaper than we realized. Oh it even came with a little bar area. High ceilings it all. We need to steal back the housing department... If y'all can buy a house keep it and resell it when you don't want it stop making money off the struggling economy.

    Same here but in southern Germany for a flat 1000 sqft is pretty good especially in a large City. But the price is insane the cheapest is still more than 4 times the price of our old flat in a pretty medium priced area (in munich you might get close in better quarters). 😶

  • @amyv7901

    @amyv7901

    @@Serenity_yt I can't agree more. We choose this 1000 square because we want enough space for a family, but it's insanely large for a single person or a couple. We used to live in 650 sq ft (60 m2) and it was still enough space for two people. But prices for rent sky rocketed in last two years and in Prague (capital) prices for single 215 sq ft (20 m2) room are the same, as for a family flat in "small" cities. Students can't afford without any sort of part-time job, even when their families chose to support them. You can't give half of your salary to your kid for their rent, when you have your own to pay + food and other necessities. Market is crazy these days.

    I've lived in LA my whole life, and no, this is not the norm. I rent a perfectly nice two bed/two bath for 2500 (which still may be a lot to most people, but we also have a population of 10mil+, so housing is competitive, unfortunately). A lot of influencers or LA transplants tend to look in the much more expensive neighborhoods or rent luxury apartments that offer a lot of extra amenities (think hotel amenities like a gym, an office center, a doorman, a rooftop pool, etc). The rent varies drastically between each area of LA, as well as what are considered nicer, more central locations. Had a friend living in one area, paying 3500 for a one bedroom, while I lived only 10 minutes away more towards the valley and I only paid 1600 for a one bedroom.

    Rent is mainly based on how many bedrooms, bathrooms, other amenities. But don’t forget about the location of the place you’re renting. If it’s fairly close to mall, stores, transportation etc. your rent will be a lot more expensive. If it’s far from those places or quite ways away rent should be at least cheaper compared to others. Choose wisely on what you prioritize.

    It really depends i say demand plays a huge role. here in Vacancy rate is 0.5% (Yes only HALF a percent of the Rental supply is vacant). Which is a huge factor in why rent is so expensive combined with Climbing interest rates and Property taxes. if it was not for Caps placed on how much the Rent can increase each year it would be so out of Control here. No matter where you go. $800 rent can only be found in the Sticks. in the Major cities its abut $3000 on average. i was lucky to get a place a couple of cites away for $1580 for a 1 bedroom.

It is luxury apartments in expensive neighborhoods right by the local downtowns. Other apartments are far cheaper and further away, not to mention buying a house or condo is usually cheaper then renting after like the first few years of ownership due to almost zero property tax in California(which is why it has less taxes then Texas for the middle class).

    The reason why some influencers can make so much money is because they're always selling / promoting products & they usually promote different companies. Also, depending on how many clicks they get they can make a ton of money. It's really a business like anything else. Instead of us watching TV and all the advertisements we watch KZread and watch all their advertisements. The more "likes" you get the more money you make the more clicks you get the more money you make. Even after you post something on KZread depending on how many views you have people continue to click on your stuff & you continue to make money. A lot of people have quit their day jobs because they make way more money doing KZread all day / everyday but you got to build up a clientele first.

    @@Georgeツ Yes, what I said is true. My family is middle-class. Richer families pay around 500 dollars for rent per month. Rent price more than that, and it's considered very luxurious

    Come to Vancouver and the Surrounding Cities and your looking at $1800-$5000 depending on where you go. i pay that right now for a 1 bedroom. But i am away from the Metro Vancouver Area (Where those rents i mentioned are and more into the Fraser Valley which is cheaper but even then it's Creeping up because everyone is getting pushed out there.

    as a resident in L.A. what youre mainly paying for is the weather, because we have the best weather here, its become more of a luxury than a privilege to live here. and hes not lying about the prices. i asked the owner of a brand new apartment they had finished building nearby me in Korea Town and he for 1 bedroom 2,500$ and for a 2 bedroom 4000$, many places offer these kind of prices even in shitty neighborhoods

    The pricing is spot on. Now if you want to buy a house, that needs work, you are going to be paying $1million to start! $1 million in Southern California gets you nothing but a house that is small and needs a ton of renovations to get it to a live-able condition.
