Killer vid! Hidden Fates is a terrific set but it's priced a bit too high for me to rip nowadays. Unfortunate because as we saw here, it's a ton of fun to rip! Congrats on the hits, man. I think the tin took the W, too. Very good for one tin. Going with Dragonair today, man.

Yep agree with that CZ is one of the best more modern sets when it come to hits and fun to open!

Hidden fates is my favorite set that I never really go to open. By the time I got back into Pokemon, this set was already $80-$90 USD for an ETB. Awesome video with some great hits. Maybe a video on the 3 shiny sets to see what one has the best hit rates, would be a good video idea. Not sure if you’ve done that, you might have already and I’m just slow lol. Man, wish I got to open more Hidden Fates packs as well when it was a regular set! Tons of hits and lots of beauties! Going today tin has better hits versus the etb. Rainbow birds and baby shiny Alolan vulpix are awesome! Guess for this one is Diglet.

Quantity-wise, nice amount of hits! The hyper rare is really nice too. It's crazy how expensive Hidden Fates is. My one attempt at it was buying a tin supposedly with a minor dent from Amazon Warehouse that showed up with just the opened pack wrappers (but we *did* get the Charizard promo, and Amazon refunded me). The weather report prompted me to ask the Alexa app for Sydney weather conditions. Low 49(F), high 62. Man would I love that as we swelter through a North American summer in the mid to upper 90's.

A few hours after that, Pokerev dropped a video this afternoon ET responding to the controversy over the 5.0 price hike and him opening the Rainbow tier. As someone who purchases a lot of different types of products, I'd be interested to hear your opinions of how he prices out (in US dollars) the various tiers. I posted a comment there that asks that, but in the sea of thousands of comments, I don't expect Rev to see it. But he has some interesting numbers in there.

I dunno if you can separate out members, but it's at the bottom of my original comment to you. At any rate, I'd be very interested to hear your thoughts on Pokerev's video responding to criticism of the V5 mystery pack price increases, and how he calculates the value of each tier (in US dollars). At some point guessing you'll address it in a future video, one way or the other.

I love me some hidden fates also. I still need to pick a etb for the sealed collection but have been slacking on that one. That was a satisfying opening even if not getting the best cards. I really like the stain glass birds promo also. Talking about fishing that was my next big hobby for a long time after stopped skateboarding, but faded away from that after I got tired of spending money fixing my boat too many times. Against my better judgment, I did order 2 of the 5.0 poké rev packs the day they released. I told myself I won’t be so anal over the possible poor packs received imo and just enjoy it for what it is. Outside of opening Pokémon packs I don’t gamble at all. No casinos or lottery. I’ve lost enough over the years that it’s just not fun giving away my cash like that anymore. To each their own though, do what enjoy not what others what others like or want you to like. Congratulations, you’re about to pass 3500 subscribers. I can’t wait for you to get to rip into the 5000 subs mystery box. It’ll be fun hopefully for everyone, but I know for you and I. I hope you have a great week, and thanks for sharing.

Man Hidden Fates is a top quality set, so satisfying to open and watch being opened. The promo is a cool one. Fishing is lots of fun but I 100% hear ya there. They say BOAT stands for Bust Out Another Thousand 😂😂 but ya know what it’s true haha Yeh I think 2 packs is ok to just open regardless of it being overpriced for what you might get. Thats good, gambling isn’t really a hobby that ends with much value even if you enjoy it. But agree to each their own. Ticking away to that 5K slowly but steadily. Man I honestly cannot wait. Going to have to clear the whole month schedule for the celebration fun once we hit that 5K. Thanks so much legend, hope you have a great week ahead.

Ive got that bird trio promo in a graded 9.5. Such beautiful card but idk i rather have that rainbow card. I really like the rainbows and wish / feel the sword and shield era rainbows should be worth more.

Yeh man that promo and rainbow birds are both very nice! I agree plenty of the rainbows in S&S era are undervalued, they may go up in time.

I've opened so little Hidden Fates that it's always nice to see someone else open it! (Only sealed product I got from that set is the Charizard tin and that's not getting touched 😄)

I’ve been collecting for a while so lots of my older stuff I picked up a while ago. For starting collecting it’ll be hard to get anything older for a steal as everyone is on top of when a good deal shows up. For modern just keep an eye on when people sell at good prices. I’ll likely explain it in a video. I’ve made mention to what I do in previous videos.

Hey legend! Pokémon is timeless, glad you’re enjoying the content. Man that’s tough working that much, hope you’re still getting some down time in amongst it all. Hmm it’s a tough one as so many sets are overpriced at the moment. My high level suggestion would be look for crown zenith is still priced well and a fun set to open or collect sealed. Otherwise to rip a lot of packs you can’t go wrong with how good prices are on Japanese sets. Also Paldea evolved if you can get good prices on packs.
