I fully understand the not wanting to be touched or talked too. With my first the nurse asked my husband to rub my feet. I looked at him and said "if you touch me I will deliver this baby alone" 😂

My husband rubbed a tennis ball on my lower back, which only annoyed me, while my mom rubbed my arm in the exact same spot until it was numb. They were trying to help and I was too meek at the time to tell them to stop😁

I agree about the talking especially
My second baby was 43 weeks! I swear, I was so big during his pregnancy. But it was late summer, and I was miserable. I kept asking my ob to induce labor; he refused, said it was too dangerous! My son finally decided to slide out- no contractions, right onto the bed. He weighed 9lbs, 5 oz. at birth- AND had Postmaturity Syndrome. Nobody had ever told me about it, it was so rare. However, there were a lot of problems with my son- all because my doctor let me go to 9 months and 25 days in my pregnancy! My son is now soon to be 40 years old. He had a very bad start in life, but eventually made it. But he STILL has issues. I actually did my thesis on Postmaturity after he was born, and there was very little information on it to even write about. So I interviewed parents of children who were born late. Several of them had the same issues as my son; and their doctors told them all that they didn’t know WHY. I got an A ++ on my paper, and was asked to give a speech about this syndrome to all young adults attending my university- to warn them. This was way back in the early 80’s- so no Dr. Google lol.

I had both my sons at 10 days late. My doctor induced my first and was going to induce my second boy at 10 days late but I already was in labor that day and had him in 45 minutes. I’m glad I didn’t go later than I did. This was in 1985 and 1987.

Prouf of you!! I 1972, I told my ob, after being 2 weeks overdue and 15 hours of nonproductive contactions, rither he did something to move the labor along or I was calling my cousin, an ob Dr from Oregon to come deliver me. Dr finally appeared and said “ we have a problem, this big baby is stuck in the birth canal”-- 3 way epsiotomy and 52 stitches is how my son was delivered. Yes, he had problems also.

This is what happened to me. My son was 43.5 weeks gestation. People couldn't believe I was pregnant that long. He was 9 lbs 2 Oz and he is on the spectrum but never tested. He will participate in any testing or therapy.

It took us 12 months the first time too, it was such a long, difficult journey and it ended in a rare partial molar pregnancy. After that we were told to wait 6 months before trying, we waited 5, from there it took us 8.5 months and I’m due in just a couple days. It’s crazy though because we’re both in our 20s and all the doctors just say that I have some degree of PCOS. Both times I took femara at least twice, the second pregnancy I injected the ovadril (ovulation) shot in myself twice. BUT I’m grateful for all the knowledge I’ve learned, the value I’ve gained in human life, and the strong empathy I have for other struggling women ❤.

Yes you did your thang girl. As soon as I start laboring I start cleaning then cook a big meal for my other children while I'm away. When I'm finished with my house duties I create a spa like atmosphere at home & relax and labor until I can no longer take the pain.

Aww congratulations. Thanks for sharing your story. 🙏🏻💜
This is the strongest young lady I’ve ever seen! She went through this entire labor beautifully! Her delivery was so quick & appeared pretty uncomplicated! I was feeling proud of her as the mother of 3 daughters who allowed me at their deliveries!
Your amazing making this video while your in labor! I feel like your a pro at this point! God bless!!🙏🙏congratulations!
Great job momma! You did an awesome job! You’re so patient and sweet!💖

I totally understand when you're talking about your husband. You know I kind of guessed it at the very beginning of the video that you like to handle things by your own...My mom is like that. Even though my father is a very caring person, mom is best when she tackles some type problems by herself.
my older sister had her first baby today shes a first time mom!
Congratulations your husband supported you the only way he knows how to by being a provider and by your side when you needed him xxx
It looks like your labor dress has pockets😍😍😍 and looks so comfy
I'm only 22 weeks, and watching alot of these videos, this is my first child. 😍🙂
Consid3ring that you are in Labour, i have never known anyone that can talk so much, good on you, thats really inspiring 😊
I'm like you when I am in pain I don't want anyone touching or talking to me. It's ashame that people were judging your husband they don't know what you and him discuss for your labor. Thank you for sharing your birth vlog. 😊

I think you have one terrific husband. He understands the pain and the situation that you’re in. When I was pregnant with my two children, I didn’t want to be touched or talk to either. I wanted total silence. Wish you the best.❤❤

You were such a a pro. Up moving around a lot of the labor. I had 5 girls (3 x single, last time 10 yrs later and twins,), In hospital from 13 to 19 hrs of course no epidural back then and water never broke on own. So was in bed full labor except at home.
It was wild when I gave birth. I had to be induced, and I had the epidural, which made me fall asleep when I woke up his head was literally almost out of me. Barely felt anything, barely had to do any work. He was just wiggling his way out while I was dead asleep
You are awesome 😂😊❤ I wish I could of been as patient when I was in labor 😊

I completely understand! Your husband is great.
I admire your husband for respecting your wishes to be left alone. That's a great man! God bless your family.
Your husband is so chill! 😮
Congratulations ❤
I was GBS positive, baby came in 4 hours before I got the mwds( hood thing as she is allergic to penicillin) stayed 48 hours and went home
I had a epidural with my first the second birth i had no pain relief it was a lot quicker.
Congrats, May a long healthy life be with each of you!❤️💯😘🕊️🎶

I had GBS with my third...no clue how or where. Didn't have with #1 or 2.
Getting that iv in your hand is honestly worse than the lidocane from the epidural 🤣 you did so good ❤️❤️
I was SO SCARED WHEN SHE WAS PURPLE!!!!! THAT CRY MADE ME FEEL BETTER!!!😂😂😂😂😂
Have to go by your gut and intensity rather than timing. Such a good prebirth meal
Congratulations on your baby girl
AMEN HONEY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY💙💕👣👣❤️❤️🙏🙏
I was the same way I didn’t want to be talked to or touched. My husband tried once and I yelled for him to never do this to me again and get away and he ran to a corner!😂 I was a mess with my second but my first I really didn’t know what to expect and 3 weeks late they admitted me and started pitocin. With the third my water broke at 3:30am I took a shower fixed my hair and we headed to the hospital at 6am. Walked the halls till i couldn’t walk any longer then delivered at 10:36am. A great 3rd delivery. I gave natural with all. Definitely my 3rd was a great experience! Second was the worst and also they kept losing the heart beat so attached wires. It was scary for sure. But atleast all my deliveries were pretty fast.
I thought the peanut ball was your belly at first, I was thinking wow her belly grew!🤣😂
W my son, Braedon, I had epidural but I don't think it worked bc I was in so much pain entire time!
No it's interesting. It's nice to be for you to be so positive when some people are negative and you just concentrate on that it's not like it's your first rodeo your husband's comfortable what he knows you want he's going to do already so God bless and have a healthy baby and life ❤
I had a beautiful homewater birth nothing compares to that ... congrats mom
Congratulations! What a calm birth. Sweet doctor and just one nurse; not a room full of people.
@cupcake1406

She had a calm birth because she had an epidural and she said that she couldn't feel any of the contractions.
Hear the mom,s voices. I have 4 girls. Amazing 😊
Each woman labours differently even between different children. I nested with both mine. I had 3 labours with my eldest …his head was stuck cos my pelvis is deformed..hence C sections..
I was the same way you were in labor dont touch me and ended up being nauseous and throwing up😊
You have every right to request what is helpful for you. If I’m sick or in the hospital I ask that nobody visit. I do not like feeling crowded up. I want space.

If I'm ill n in hospital I put do not disturb on my door. It made me so nervous. I even told my husband to go home n rest too. Call on discharge day 😆 Congratulations with your family s addition. I hope to know her name soon. I'm a new sub now n.I will find out soon.. Bet your a great mother.❤Patti from Southern Illinois 😊
My second pregnancy I was GBS+ and did not arrive in time to have antibiotics during labor. I arrived to the hospital fully dilated 😅 baby had to get preventative antibiotics after he was born. Thay also meant he had to be in the nicu (their protocol for iv meds on babies) which was super hard on our breastfeeding journey. I sat with him all day each day he was there, but they had so many doctors checking on him like he was a sick baby, but he was healthy. They were so concerned about his weight dropping even though he was born at 9lbs5oz. If i could go back in time, i would just ask them to back off a little on that stuff.
So ready to meet my baby girl in 2 to 4 weeks 😍 ❤

Congratulations to you and your family
My daughter was the same in both her pregnancies. Do not talk to her and definitely do not touch. Sounds mean but we all have our different ways to get through things. Congratulations to you both.
My daughter with her I had severe preeclampsia and strep B and was induced at 33 weeks it was a scary pregnancy but birth was so easy painful but was so easy for me now she's 9months old I'm preg with baby number 2 I'm 13 weeks pregnant and got 27 weeks left to go I'm hoping for a boy I didn't get to be at my daughter's baby shower I was in the hospital. So there having another one for this baby for me I got the epidural but I was so exhausted and tired and out of it that I didn't push the bottom only one time when my nurse told me to push it I still could feel everything wasn't numb at all so I felt the contractions and birth the whole time I screamed the whole time and i was in labor for 20hours
I know I should know this but what is GBS?
