You get what you pay for in this case. I'd hands down pick the Primera applicator.
how many jars end up with bubbles in the labels on the automatic machine?

We haven't tested the machine with jars yet, but in our experience only the first container of the set had issues with bubbles!
My labels are long and narrow [ 21 cm x 3.5 cm]. My full roll of 2500 labels at the start has a diameter of almost 30 cm and weighs almost 2.5 kg. Do you know if the Primera can accommodate these dimensions? Thanking you in advance.

Can this machine do labels for cups, cans ect

Most cylindrical containers should be able to work with the Primera. It may not work well if the container is tapered, as the labels may not apply completely straight. We'd recommend contacting Primera with your specific container type to see if they recommend it!
