Omg... Never ever connect your wires like is shown at 7:20!!! When the individual wires move they are able to short circuit. In the best case scenario your breaker trips. In the worst case scenario your house burns down...

- Agreed ! Without solder (or at LEAST much better twisting!), those connections will be TERRIBLE, unstable, unreliable, short-lived, encourage surges/spikes, and, as you said, FIRE! - Well, we can sign this moron OP off our Lists... sigh... !
I love when they do the screw trick. They force the screw close to the edge of the board causing it to split but will then screw the next screw further back so as to not split the edge of the board. genius
Mostly obvious or of no use
Title should be: What not to do when painting walls unless you love to dust
The faux finish at 10:04 is NOT the homemade finish tool, what is being shown is paneling!

7:14 absolutely not, no no no no no no and No, people, please I'm begging you please do not do that!!
7:13-7:30 This is illegal. Electrical wires can be connected in joint box, electrical center or similar safe box by proper connectors. View your local electrical legislation.
@Mr.Neko013
2 жыл бұрын
I completely agree! I can say this isn't the worst thing I've seen, but it's definitely not to code ANYWHERE that the electrical, on average on a professional level, doesn't look like a child did it
🔵 @ 3:37 instead of making a duct tape belt to run the nut down the threaded rod, just chuck the rod in the drill and hold the nut in the vise! If you're concerned about the drill chuck damaging the threads wrap the area of the threaded rod that you're going to put in the chuck in a piece of thin cardboard.

Some these hacks don’t make sense
7:40 Put the nuts on the bolt, so when you remove them, they will reshape any damaged threads.
Some.of these hacks would fail as soon as you put them to work. Few electrical issues too.

🔵 Instead of putting matchsticks in a hole in concrete to make it smaller, use paper clips instead, just squeeze them down sideways to make them skinny enough to fit in the hole. Concrete has an affinity for moisture and the matchsticks will rot after a while from the moisture and the screw will fall out.

Or use an anchor, drive pin, concrete screw, etc. There are many ways of putting a screw into concrete that actually works right

Happy you got likes?
Will you stop using music that is weird?
These so called "hacks" are terrible and some of them are even twice the effort than doing things in their convential way
The only time I used textured walls was when I had something to hide and I was too damn lazy to do it the right way.
Much craft, very wow. :(
Nice
Cute n' smart
Good video 👍👍👍
Would anyone else prefer the noise of the tools or complete silence over the copywrite free music or is it just me? This electro pop crap is the worst part of any of these type of vids. It was never good, and it still sucks years later.
Thanks for sharing

While nice ideas most of the wall treatments would be a nightmare to change. Lord forbid you had to move because it would take you weeks just to fix the walls. Other then that yeah it looks cool, but having moved quite a few times I can tell you home repair is no fun.
