    Omg... Never ever connect your wires like is shown at 7:20!!! When the individual wires move they are able to short circuit. In the best case scenario your breaker trips. In the worst case scenario your house burns down...

    - Agreed ! Without solder (or at LEAST much better twisting!), those connections will be TERRIBLE, unstable, unreliable, short-lived, encourage surges/spikes, and, as you said, FIRE! - Well, we can sign this moron OP off our Lists... sigh... !

    I love when they do the screw trick. They force the screw close to the edge of the board causing it to split but will then screw the next screw further back so as to not split the edge of the board. genius

    7:13-7:30 This is illegal. Electrical wires can be connected in joint box, electrical center or similar safe box by proper connectors. View your local electrical legislation.

    🔵 @ 3:37 instead of making a duct tape belt to run the nut down the threaded rod, just chuck the rod in the drill and hold the nut in the vise! If you're concerned about the drill chuck damaging the threads wrap the area of the threaded rod that you're going to put in the chuck in a piece of thin cardboard.

    7:40 Put the nuts on the bolt, so when you remove them, they will reshape any damaged threads.

    🔵 Instead of putting matchsticks in a hole in concrete to make it smaller, use paper clips instead, just squeeze them down sideways to make them skinny enough to fit in the hole. Concrete has an affinity for moisture and the matchsticks will rot after a while from the moisture and the screw will fall out.

    While nice ideas most of the wall treatments would be a nightmare to change. Lord forbid you had to move because it would take you weeks just to fix the walls. Other then that yeah it looks cool, but having moved quite a few times I can tell you home repair is no fun.

    4:29 Notice how the first scree was put in right st the edge of the board? Now look at the second screw, it's a couple cm away from the edge. At least put the screws in the same place to show that it works
