during the minecraft live event, mojang only announced a few features but after some time mojang added many features that were not announced during minecraft live, such as bundles, so it is very likely that features that were postponed such as archeology and birch forest revamp will be added in this update.

although I think this is great minecraft really needs to realise that there have been players asking for the same thing over and over again that could fit right into this update for example different dig breeds just like the cats got. and just overall make the biomes better or more interactive like adding more flowers/plants or in the dessert or even beaches adding a palm tree it wouldn't even have to have a new block they could just use blocks that already exist

I was about to say all the dogs in Minecraft are actually wolves, but then I remembered back when you tamed ocelots they would turn into domestic house cats of different breeds which didn't make sense lol. But maybe someday Mojang will add stray dogs to you can tame alongside the wolves

The only thing I am asking is A jungle village to be Finally be added with the new bamboo stuff it would make sense for a jungle village

At first bamboo was very useless but now it has many uses and it also looks beautiful

Wow this was a throwback “I haven’t played since 1.14” nostalgia hitting hard rn

So glad i grew up with Minecraft, witnessing its progress thorugh times. Memory i make with my fellow friends since my childhood. What a good times:) It's a shame that kids nowadays prefer dumb shooter rather than a game that sharpen their creativity... And also thanks for the info mate, i like your videos.

i didnt like the autotune it made it hard to hear what he was saying and made it sound awkward and weird.

The mob skull note block thingy is very useful for pranks like the creeper!

We should call this update the Exploration Update due to exploring biomes to find new mobs, blocks, and features

This is sort of a side note to the camel update, but why is Mojang so determined to make rideable mobs so underpowered they’re virtually useless? They seem to think that limiting one mob makes the others more valuable, such as making such a slow mob as camels the only mob ridable by two players at once, what exactly do they think the value is of two players being able to ride it if it’s so slow? Or limiting llamas and donkeys to such a tiny amount of inventory slots, the feature of them having inventory slots at all becomes pointless. Llamas in particular are completely useless in terms of item storage / transport, as Mojang won’t allow them more than 12 or so slots, which simply isn’t worth the hassle of breeding them. In my view, any mob which can be equipped with a chest should have a full single chest worth of inventory, and llamas should have a double chest worth of inventory, as the whole point of using llamas and donkeys and horses in real life is that they can carry far more than a real life human being. And for the sake of sheer adventure and fun, there is zero valid reason why horses shouldn’t be rideable by two players at once, it’s ridiculous that this feature is limited to the uselessly slow camel. If they want to make the camel special, they should come up with useful features, rather than focus so hard on trying to make other mobs so underpowered they’re virtually useless.

I’m struggling to think of how the “dash” ability would be at all useful, let alone on par with a mule or donkey’s storage transport capabilities. All the rideable mobs are so underpowered they are largely useless to practical gameplay, so they wind up being little more than decorative.

That makes sense but if horses carried 2 people, llamas carried double chests and donkeys and mules carried entire chests, they would be way too op. I think that yes, its not very accurate to real life but keep in mind this is a fiction game. If it were like that it would make things too easy, but thats just my opinion.

I don’t think it would be “too easy”. In the realm of building in Minecraft, one double chest is nothing, horse mobility is useless compared to elytra, and mob inventories are useless compared to shulker boxes. In my estimation, shulkers and elytra should be nerfed and rideable mobs should be dramatically buffed.

Omg I love 1.20 especially the bamboo doors! Imma try them now eekkk this is going to make me and my building group so much easier to decorate

in my opinion, the birch and jungle hanging sign look really nice. 2 of the worst wood typed ACTUALLY look good as a hanging sign! (acacia still looks like someone ate a lot of orange skittles, and barfed on wood)

You can get the bamboo blocks, rafts,hanging signs,,bamboo buttons just by going to the experimental section while creating a world and then press next major update and then create.

Also I love that bedrock already added the new default skins but java has to wait for the whole update

I wonder if bamboo blocks coming is because this update will also add the jungle villages in the bamboo forest biomes. The sniffer being very grassy/mossy on top and a plant-like focus for the update would fit that and even possibly/hopefully the swamp village as well

I prefered old vex, it looked cooler, rabbit questions him on 8 but a husk doesnt

Exited to play the 1.20 update It has been so long I wanted bamboo to make some cute Chinese forest with bamboo houses and also a camel in the desert maps would make it more realistic !

Yes this is true but other than that it was useless. Using the new chisled bookshelf I can make an actual library and properly catalog my Enchanted books as well as my many work books for survival construction and to do lists

Bookshelves are the best purchase by emeralds in the game as the first librarian sells bookshelves and with them you get 20-30 librarians that give all enchantments in the game letting you craft any combination of enchantments on any gear, tool, or weaponv👍

Bookshelf trades are also the source of books 3 for 1 emerald removing the necessity to farm paper & leather.

Bookshelves are highly useful but not for enchanting

It would be awesome if they added different types of tnt

And all of this bamboo stuff is really good for builds to make like Hots and villages

I honestly liked the old vex skin more than the new one because it gave a unique look and was creepy as heck but them giving it a more cute look in my opinion didn't need to happen especially since people were already connecting the vex and allay together so the skin change didn't feel all too necessary

the head sounds are gonna be great for trolling

that creeper head with the music box will be perfect for pranking your friend when hes in his base by setting a pressure plate at his door and when he walks on it, it activates the music box playing the creeper sound

Camels have plates(upper plate like ours but harder) in their mouths to defend against the spines so it makes complete sense.

They should really add couplings and furnace minecarts to pocket edition

Mojang should add a friend system that is not hard to make a account and should make the realm maximum players 5 but if you want more players to join the realm you need to pay that's a much better idea for the next update because many people have problems joining realms

its probably called the ancient update because the sniffer is ancient and there's archeology, also there's new types of books that is found in different structures to upgrade armors

The mob heads and music disc you can use this to make some good pranks
