The whale shark bit was priceless! They're filter feeders and just eat plankton, so that guy could have calmly stood on the shark's back to get back in the boat!

I feel the same way! My reaction watching this video was just like yours, the surprise element was fantastic.

At 10:08 that pool is a training pool for diver training. You will notice the massive amount of bubbles in the water which keeps the divers in training from being hurt on a bad entry. The bubbles make the landing cushy soft. Same thing is used for ski jump training. And just FYI, you can sink a battleship with enough air bubbles.

That dude was so scared with that whale shark coming up at him that he could see, turned himself into a barnacle on that boat. Pure terror. Felt the poor dudes fear. Still had me rolling. Its pretty hard to get up the side of a boat like that. Was fun to watch. Great video

Come to my location between June and Mid September. There are tours to go swim with the whale sharks. And yes.... it is an at least once in a lifetime, gotta do it, bucket list, phenomenal experience!! 😉
