It sucks because on Xbox the flir doesn’t work. If you go to target someone it might work the first and maybe the second time if you’re lucky then all of a sudden the plane will start turning whatever direction you are trying to target someone. So if you are zoomed in and you’re looking to the right the plane will start doing barrel rolls to the right. It’s Super frustrating when this happens because as you’re trying to correct it you one, you’ve already have flown past it two you sometimes you can’t recover and you crash three you no longer have situational awareness and you get shot down 😂🤣😂 it’s tough being a console player

All the locking in WT depends on the heat signal of the target... Any optical locking in WT is actually heat locking. It is proved by the code of the seeker. This also stands for why a lot of dead bodies would distract those optical locking missiles such as the one on tiger UHT.

PARS of Tiger UHT & Maverick (D) of A-10 Late are IR missiles, it is even written in the stats but missiles like Kh-29T or Maverick (B) are electro-optical guided. The target image is picked up by the TV camera in the missile. The image is displayed in the cockpit. The missile is guided automatically to the target once it is released after lock on. The TV head continuously compares target's contrast with its surrounding and is guided in this way.

​@@Hunter_i86 Oh please forgive my mistake over the PARS. However, if you check the code of Mavric B (In Warthunder) from dispatch, the guiding is still dependent on the heat signal. My point is that WT is using some coding to simulate the optical guiding mode with heat-seeking. So the heat signal would still affect those literal Optical guiding ones in WT.

Hello my friend, if you don't like using mouse for TV try this: 1- Choose Full-Real Controls 2- Type "gunner" in the search bar 3- Assign your joystick favorable keys for: - Gunner aiming control X-Axis (click on it and set Relative Control to: NO) - Gunner aiming control Y-Axis (click on it and set Relative Control to: NO) 4- Gunner view sensitivity 50% 5- Gunner view sensitivity at maximum zoom 50%

Well, I love your videos and the play style. I usually play downtier because I have to pay for premium or buy vehicles to keep play at top tier. Beside that last night I just wanted to play grounds at 11.0 but it seems like the air is waaay front at this meta. It is quite annoying to play ground at top tier at the moment. I agree it suppose to be rock and scissor but it is not if you are against air. My eyes bleed when I try to find target at air. But when you get in airplane or heli I m choosing whichone I would like to kill from 10 km . when you are air you know where the grounds are but if you are air whole space is yours to hide. Grounds radar system should be more effective...Game suppose to balance that visual advantage for grounds too....

Every time I play pure SPAA like ItO or Rad I stay out of tanks sight, find a cover like a house or something (away from friendly ground spawn), position my vehicle so the enemy helipads and jets spawn are in sight, scale the radar search area to 20km, light a cigarette and wait .. I did that yesterday in Campania where I don't like playing tanks much and ended up with 5 air kills .. 3 top tier jets and 2 top tier helicopters while our CAS was ground pounding with no one annoying them in the sky. It is not that hard my friend, the ground radar is good, and it costs only 100 spawn points while planes nowadays can reach to even 1000 spawn points to be able to use them.

@@Hunter_i86 I agree every word of stayin away from the group and predictable places on the map and try to find target in the radar and focus on em and sending unlocked misiles for hit. I search the people close to each before leave the bomb or roc When I m at air. First I ll blame you :) cuz most of the people started play alike you ( including me ) when they get in the plane and helis and that made em quite hard target to kill. It is pretty fun to do that while I m at air, but I cant show the same result while I m in SPAA, although I already watch your SPAA videos. Second reason is; visual advantage ll always be with the air which is fine but I think ground may have better radar or faster misiles... ( I might be crying after 4 times spawned with SPAA and killed nothing yesterday ...) Space rockets bombs and hyper divers damn :)... makes me turn back to 5.7-6.7 M18 and thunderbolts :) (cheap and fun). Love you and your videos ! btw

Because it is not allowed to carry laser guided missiles & TV guided missiles in the same loadout. I use RMB + WASD to guide KH-23M.

I think he's mostly dropping them to combat radar AAA-locks, which is why he includes chaff in the mix; afterburner wouldn't make a difference for a radar lock.
