Everybody loves to talk about the UNLV Runnin' Rebels and Michigan Fab Five and their impacts on sports and Hip-Hop culture, but I think it's high time we gave Norm Richardson and his Razorback squads from the 90s their flowers as well. Todd Day, Oliver Miller, Lee Mayberry, Scotty Thurman, Corliss Williamson, Al Dillard, etc. - them boys had style, swag and game and for hoop fans down South, at least, they had a huge impact on the culture too. I remember our high school hoops coach fashioned our team's run-n-gun style after "40 Minutes of Hell"!

Scottie Thurman & McDaniel were my favorite players on that team. I still believe the NBA never gave Thurman a chance because he hit the shot that beat Duke. 30yrs later some of these white/black dynamics still exist in our society

Pissed me off! That team might be the smartest team in Arkansas History. I have met Nolan and what an under rated man and coach! IMO he is greater than Thompson won with less talent than Thompson. Great great man! I met Scotty Thurman last year at the state volleyball tournament where his daughter played. She's the best player I have seen following my grand daughter around. I ran into Scotty in the hall and man maybe the nicest man I have ever met. I mean I don't hero worship and he noticed I had a Hog hat on and talked to me for 15 minutes and he's just about as good as it gets. And my grand daughters team VB had just upset his daughters team. Very impressive how he just mixed and talked to anybody and everyone that he ran into. I was just going to nod and say hi and he stopped me. I actually officiated Corliss son and ran into him a couple of times. And he also is just a down to earth guy.

One of the greatest moments in Razorback history! To counter Corliss, I'd say it was more elitist/anti-Arkansas undertones than racial undertones, unless there was more than just that one clip about labeling Duke smart.

They said the samething about the 5 Five Coach Thompson at Georgetown and the same Racist rhetoric towards my Brothers from UNLV. This wasn't the first time the children of Japheth made those Racist comments it's in there Nature.
