    At 6:45, those aren't ostriches, they are Emus. Totally different animals. They are less aggressive, weaker, smaller and slower.

    NOT this time! At 2:47 the left propeller was REALLY not being powered. Part of its slow movement was due to ram air force into the engine inlet, not a fps vs rotation match. The blades are in a position usually called "feathered", to provide less aerodynamic drag when engine is OFF. Only the right engine is operating with the blades on normal angle. The pilot that filmed this situation on an OV-10 Bronco was showing exactly that: sort of "Hey guys! Look at that! One engine off and the other turning! It is Brain Time...

    @02:57 Nope, the engine on (our) right is not working. If this were film shutter, the blades would curve (high rotational speed) like on the working engine on (our) left. The blades are straight.

    The port side airplane propellor appears to have been “feathered” (as shown by the edge first position) something that’s done to reduce drag if the engine stops working. If it was due to matching rpm/camera frame rate then please explain why the starboard propellor is spinning normally?

    There are two throttle controls. It is rare that both would be turning at the exact same RPM. Within a hundred or so RPM would keep the plane flying straight.

    4:30 that's a legit good invention/idea!! 6:20 also great idea!! I had what I thought was the highest jumping dog in the world but we stopped training him after injury from jumping too high. I fully understand the need for this👍

    No, that propeller at 3:00 or so is (almost) stopped and feathered. Looks like they're working on a restart. This is done from time to time as a training exercise.

    Correction - The Propeller is „feathered“ ie Engine not running and „Drag“ reduced to a Minimum. Also - Ostriches look a bit different , these are probably Emus.

    Sorry but at 3.02 in the video , the propeller was in feather position and not what you said. This means that the blades are in idle. Look it up on Google :"Prop in feather position" all becomes clear.
