Agostino Barbieri actually had sparkling water, vitamins, yeast, tea & coffee with small amounts of sugar and milk. So technically his world record was different. He didn't have solid food. Kenny only consumed Smart Water, a different world record.

@@sedoniadragotta8323Right, 40 is kind of standard. There was a hyper religious chick who did three 40-day consecutive fasts with a week between each one. She looked like Skeletor at the end. A couple years after that, she did a video about how her (then dead) abusive husband forced her to do it and she deleted all the fasting videos. Look at images of Gaza - the Shitraelis are starving Gazans, they are forced to do fasting, and it is killing them, you die sooner without electrolytes. My longest was 16 days, I lost 27 pounds, in solidarity with a prison strike.

I am about the same amount overweight as the first photos of Kenny starting this fast. I have to lose 1/3rd of my present body weight. So... I am now starting to fast on water only. Let's just see how long I can go and if I can reach this goal of losing 1/3d of my body. Today is May 2024... Yes, if Jesus could fast for 40, so can I... I have done 30 days in the past, on only water, but that was in 1974, so it was long time ago.

Get tested for H PYLORI, I used to feel the same, would say I feel sick I need to eat. H pylori causes that hunger pain sick feeling, it's also the cause of stomach ulcers. I was treated with two different antibiotics. I no longer feel sick when I haven't ate. No more getting up to raid the kitchen for food early hours in the morning and now finally losing weight. Good luck!

Water fast appears to work for Kenny, but I have found out he gained more weight now. For me, 16-8 intermittent fasting works too plus with 4 to 5x cardio. From 120 kg, i am now, about 60 kg. My goal is 50 kg this coming April. Now I can wear anything I want, girls and guys, hehe, also checks on me sometimes. I recently also starting working on building some muscles. If Kenny can do it, you can too.

This is definitely one of those don't believe everything you see on the internet. Seems like this "documentary" was more an opportunity to make a movie and make a name for himself in LA, than a true turn your life around. I have doubts about the "doctor" on staff. His name was never mentioned. Also, the spa closed in 2012.

Fad diets are never successful. Food is not the problem. Ultra processed food and lack of movement is. Also, some mental health issues that cause and/or exacerbate eating disorders. Regular whole food meals (the less processed the better), water, and movement can help.

Fasting is not fad. Fasting is voluntary version of famine. Humans and other animals had to go through weeks and months of no energy intake to survive.
