The incompetency of Government prior to 2014 not abrogating article 370 due to vote bank politics is corrected by BJP. But I wonder how lawyers are arguing against abrogation. Very surprising.

The same reason as always: Vote bank politics. Lawyers like Sibal, Singhvi & Chidambaram have been at the forefront of defending everything illegal & anti-national. Show me one time when they argued for anything in national interest

Dear friend, whenever I see someone selling UT over even feudal federalism is something distant myself, put me in moments of thoughts why? Yes, a lot of people feel comfortable with individual, we not feel equally excited with institutions. Whereas the people centric governance are almost like putting master slaver like society and their aspirations.
I take quite a lot of views expressed by authors here as offensive, idiotic and even dangerous for democracy, however I still want to give benefit of doubts to them. We as generations are disconnected from past and shallow. Whereas I have reasons to believe most of the times it is intentional rather due to individual ignorance. Or sometime I see the disconnection itself as main issue. As without experiencing the worst model how we can learn. So be it.
