The first time I came across you on KZread you were cutting back that lavender after its first year. I was hooked immediately as you had such a lovely manner and were very informative. I had just lost my 19 yr old son and your videos were all I could watch. So this lavender brings back so much from that time and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you’ve done without even knowing the peace that you’ve given me ❤️🌺🌸

Because of your beautiful hedge of lavender, I planted one on the south side of my house (zone 7, mid-Atlantic, foothills of the Blueridge Mountains) and for the most part, its been absolutely beautiful. I have had a few die each winter, I always have an order for a few to continue somewhere else. I do not water, except their first year in the ground, but them minimal, I get rainfall, thank the Lord! I am on my second flush of flowers. I love the little hedge, not as lush as yours, but I started with very small plants. I have planted behind it, at last roses and stand by me clematis. Second year for these and the color is amazing. Thanks Laura for all the inspiration, even this retired lady is learning from you!

We put lavender along our white picket fence 4 or 5 years ago wanting the finished product similar to yours. While I love the look, ours has become somewhat woody and larger. I am so glad that I came across your videos about the Sweet Romance Lavender. At the end of this growing season, my husband is digging them out and we will replace them with this variety and use your pruning technique. I am so excited (my husband---not so much)! On another note, I installed drip lines to almost all of my beds this year. In preparation for this upcoming winter, can you help us drip line newbies with how you prep your lines for winter? I love your channel and look forward to it every morning!

That Sweet Romance lavendar is STUNNING!!!!🤩🤩🤩😊 Everything behind and around you, looks glorious!🥰😁 👋Hi Aaron! Sorry, I didn't realize you were out there filming.😔😶 That white gahra (sp?) is phenomenal!!! I must find some and I pray that it grows it my Zone 9b. 😂🤣😂🤣😂 The commercial after this video ended, was HYSTERICAL!!! It was made to replicate a gunfight; the music too. The woman had her hip holster loaded with Felco pruners. Her husband had a non-Felco pruner, in his holster. They did a quickdraw and started pruning their topiaries. The husband was struggling and sweating up a storm. The wife was cool and calm. At the end, they showed his sphere and his wife's swan. BOOM 💣💥 Soooo funny.😂🤣😂🤣😂 Have a Blessed and Beautiful day/evening 🌞/🌜🌍 and weekend everyone! Kimberley F in Avondale, Arizona USA 🇺🇸 (Zone 9b) 🌞🌵💞

Perfect timing, you must have been reading my mind! I’ve been coveting your lavender hedge for quite a while, but hesitant to to plant due to the woody mess it can become. I think I am going to remove the existing ice plants I have growing down the side of my long driveway and replace it with the sweet romance lavender(if I can find enough😉)it might be the planting solution I’ve been seeking to a narrow, full sun bed . Thank you for sharing your successful pruning tips to keep them from getting woody and leggy!

Lavender is my nemesis, haven't had much success! I have one lavender plant in my garden, bought it as a "spanish lavender". Back then I didn't have a Laura and didn't know about cutting it back, it's very woody. It still looks good but I know eventially I will have to take it out 😔. Thank you Laura for teaching us 🤗. My hubby took a packet of lavender seed and planted it this week, it's still cold but I hold my breath. Imagine he has success with planting it 😅... I will make him my lavender guy 🤗 and keep quiet about all my failures 😉 Thanks for this video Laura and thank you Aaron. Lots of love from South Africa 🤗💛🌻

This video is right on time! I just purchased a lavender plant and was trying to remember how you care for your lavender hedge. I was just about to search for your previous videos on how you care for lavender.👍 Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
👋🌞Good Friday morning, Laura! I saved this video, released yesterday afternoon, to have a double feature, this morning with my ☕️!😊🤗 👋Hi Russell 🐈! I saw 👀 your feet...
Wow, looks beautiful and your pots are gorgeous.
Just bought this for the first time this year. A couple of the plants were on clearance! As usual perfect timing and great concise information. Thank you Laura!
Not being a “pink” person, I wasn’t too sure of that planter recipe in the beginning…but WOW!

Didn't realize it was more peachy colored!
Gorgeous! I need that in my yard 😃
After watching your videos about how you maintain your lavender, I’ve decided I’m going to take all my Spanish lavender out this year & replant, probably a different variety. Mine had a beautiful bloom this year, but they are really woody and not a pretty shape.
Thank you!!! The lavender is a favorite. So good to learn how to care for it.
Just beautiful, all of it!
I think the containers are 🤩 so pretty! ❤️ it! 🙏🏼✌🏻❤️

Beautiful and so perfect with the pots combo
Really love everything about this area!
Wow looks absolutely stunning!!! Thanks to one of your previous videos on lavender I decided to plant some this year. Cannot wait until they start to fill out and produce those beautiful blooms. Thank you so much for the tip on pruning, much appreciated.
I enjoyed this twice!
Thank you!
Love it so much.
I love the colour of the lavender against the black fence. It's not something I would have tried but would love to do it sometime. That whole area is looking so good and the arbs in the background look amazing. They have grown so fast.
Love the color combination. Thanks for sharing
