4 Wheel Steer SCX10! New Trail
Digging through spare parts I decided to try and install rear steer on my Comp truck and it turned out great! So I took the truck out to a new trail I’ve been working on to see how it would perform.

This dude is SO UNDERATED!
I laughed a lot when I saw the winch attached to the sneakers. It was fun. It seems to climb rocks quite well. It's a great rock crawling rc car.😄😄😄
It’s crawl slowly, perfect RC and love watching it…
"Impressive. Most impressive." - Vader. Thanks for bringing us along on your adventure. I appreciate the view as well. 00

This whole video had me stressing lol! Great trail.
Man thats nice, amazing place to crawl, awesome video 👌👍👍😃
Now that is a cool set up. She did great. I have tons of tires but have not picked up a set of Flatirons. I might have to.
I just love your videos, this is my passion what I love to do super slow crawling watching the truck what it’s doing how The suspension is working. Once I get out crawling and trailing I’m in no hurry to get back home. Your videos are always impressive, I sure would love to come there and go crawling the landscaping wow breathtaking, Already be following for more I’m back to the video just want to come and say
Awesome idea, thanks for showing us how it turned out! Also happy crawlin’ from a fellow Utahn!
outstanding driving , love to watch you drive, great job !! smash that like people!!!
Would like to see how you are controlling steering & what radio is needed.
Nice driving
Very cool panhard rear axle, I wasn't expecting that when I clicked on the video. Nice use of the winch.
Crabbing up a hill is just skyrim glitching up a mountain irl
Who’s gonna winch you up if you get stuck😆😂? Man that is some unforgiving terrain bro! You did great using the extra steering functions! Nice rig too!💯👊🏼🤛🍻 Have a great Thanksgiving!🦃
I'm liking this 4 wheel steer setup. If you could show your 2 sided tape rear cab magets in a video would appreciate it. I got my Proline P. WAGON cab and Rock Pirates sliders today. I just need some help getting the rear of the cab secured. I appreciate your help.
Awesome man. Came out clean. Good stuff as always brother
thank god for giant shoe to winch too 🤣
WOW!!!
Nice!
Fabulous modification and video.
I never tough u could do that but wtf man thats a beast my g
Thanks Logan for the information on the rear steer... I used it to set up my SCX10 ii with rear steering. I do need to get a better servo as the one I have on it, is a lil weak for keeping the rear straight when I'm not using the rear steering.. Anyways, thanks again! Please keep the videos comin!
Thing is like a spider😁😅 Nice video! Thing turns on a dime! Just went out with my friends SCX10 (10 years old) and it was a great day for both trucks!👍 Love the terrain you run on. I only get to Moab once a year, but love running on that sandstone. Thanks for the video ... awesome as always👊😎🔥
I love the terrain you wheel in, but man just watching your vids give me anxiety lol... great vid ill have to make my way out to wheel that some time!!
That was awesome dude, one thing I ain’t got a crawler with rear steering. My LMT grave digger got rear steer that’s monster truck going to have to build me one,It will be with power wagon body for sure
Dammit boy my g 💯💯
Damn, those lines are some of your most challenging, you're really flirting with disaster(!), but good to see how well the Axial tackled them. Great job as always! 👍 Quick question, what tires and shocks are you running?
HI LOGON SIR GREAT IDEA WORKED PERFECT. DEFINITELY SOME SCARY LINES BUDDY. IT LOOKS LIKE SOME TIMES YOU COULD DO WITH A SAFETY LINE LOL. GREAT VIDEO WITH AWESOME BACKDROP 🇬🇧🇺🇸♥️🕊️✌️👍

Yeah it worked pretty good! I’ve thought about some kind of leash for the edges of cliffs but don’t want the truck to pull me off balance. The truck can get destroyed, I don’t want to fall.

@@westdesertwheeler2666 I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND THAT BUDDY. LOGON YOUR VIDEO'S DEFINITELY HAVE THE BEST BACK DROP/SCENERY OF ANY CRAWLING VIDEO'S I WATCH SIR. AMAZING IM ALWAYS A BIT WOW MAN THATS A TOTALLY AMAZING PLACE TO HAVE IN YOUR YARD. SO GLAD YOU SHARE IT WITH US. TAKE CARE SIR HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND BUDDY 🇬🇧🇺🇸🕊️✌️👍
Love the set up, Again appreciate is always bringing us on your adventure. Until next time
I just got all my rock pirates parts. I bought everything but the bed. I want the bed but I kind of want a different body other than the power wagon.

That makes sense. The bed works with any cab. Seen people use them on a creep body or the FJ body from MST
We call it hi5 yeah
Very cool you set up rs with a pan hard. I've not tried that but in general I love my rear steer rigs.... But I don't care for the weight of the rear servo back there. That might have been what gave you some trouble on that one section. Neat rig, I enjoy your videos.

I think in most situations that amount of weight doesn’t really matter. It balances the truck out a little more. That first climb is just crazy steep and hard to climb with anything

@@westdesertwheeler2666 I agree it may not matter much being that it is very close (though on the down hill side) of the fulcrum. Also probably more noticable with portals than with straight axles.
The reason I asked is i already have the AR45 straight axle and it would save me from buying another AR44 steer axle.
Very impressive, brother! What’s the link for the wheels? What brand and style? Thanks!
What pinion are you running on that Fusion? I was planning on adding the Axial JL kit to the stable but now I'm looking at the raw builders kit after watchin your videos with this rig. Definitely gonna be contacting Pirate RC. Thanks for the great videos, keep them coming.
How do you set up your 4ws to be independent like that??
Do you use a Pro-Line cab?
What kind of axles do you have?
Crazy question. Im wanting to rear steer a new Power Wagon build and do you think a AR45 straight steering axle would work on the back?
i think he will rear stear an trx6 next
@westdesertwheeler2666
2 жыл бұрын
Well, I would need a trx6 to do that
What remote do you use for 4ws as well as what's tires/size and foams do you run?
@westdesertwheeler2666
2 жыл бұрын
Flysky GT5 and I run 4.75” tires on dual stage foams from crawler innovations
Is that a size 12 or 13 land anchor? 🤣
any thoughts on element vs axial axels? Thanks
@westdesertwheeler2666
2 жыл бұрын
Both work well, I prefer axial. You can get sharper turning and change the caster of the axial easier. The behind the axle steering on an element starts to hit other links if you change it from stock
Hi, how do you control the rear axle separately with the GT5? At least that's how it looks in the video. I mean the GT5 can only control the rear axle in parallel or in opposite directions to the front axle, but not separately. Or do you control the GT5 with the knobs on top?

Anyone know what rear shock towers those are???
