Excellent! Thank you!
Great info and to the point. Thank you! 🙌🏻
You seem to assume the rehearsal dinner event hosts live in the area, but how do they find local venues or local caterers if they live out of state or out of town?
The officiant contract (DJ/officiant) doesn’t include appearing at rehearsal so no rehearsal, so what are modern options for the day before event if not a dinner.
Invite to the rehearsal dinner? Sounds strange...

Very traditional to do formal invitation to the event, so they know date, time, location, and what clothes to pack for it.
Wait what? An invite to the rehearsal dinner? Uh… I just want to feed the wedding party. Maybe I shouldn’t call it a rehearsal dinner…

I’d just never heard of an invite before. everyone who will be there already knows. But I did just have a bridesmaid send one so everyone is on the same page

@@ruthvansandt9713 not true, Ruth. Only the bridal party attends the actual rehearsal. In low budget dinners or purposely exclusive event, maybe only the bridal party is invited. However, the rehearsal dinner is for the groom’s side to entertain not only the bridal party after they rehearse but others as the budget allows…the groom’s aunts and uncles, godparents if close, other extended family traveling to the wedding, the bride’s aunts and uncles.
