You're welcome!
What a well timed treat!! Last night I literally went through all my KZread subscriptions, deleted the unwatched, turned off unnecessary notifications & turned on the necessary ones. Well this channel was one of the necessary notification switched on & maybe 12 hours later you drop a video on a subject that has recently been on my mind. A way of programming drums that I have been unable to find anywhere is the approach used in a good amount of the drum sound packs available through Reason Companion. They are always done in a combinator….the one in particular I’m looking at right now seems to have all of the samples loaded in a mimic. In keeping with the programming process this & many others have a Kong in the combinator setup that is unloaded yet triggers with each of the eight samples in mimic. Being unloaded I can’t figure out why. These drum sound packs also include an unloaded Umpf Retro Beats that never triggers!! As I am someone who likes to design their own sounds, I’ve been trying to figure out how to wire this up. For an example anyone can check out the Minimal Drum Machines sound pack from Reason Companion to see exactly what I’m describing. & Bro, if you know how these work & can crank out a video explaining how I would be eternally grateful. Also the CV videos of yours that you referenced early on were huge for me & opened up a giant new world of style & creation… I guess I already am eternally grateful lol

So happy to help!
Beat map can be preditable when you find a snare pattern you like for instance click the x/y button under the knob and it will keep that pattern then you can move on to the kick and so on. I don't use it but I have had a mess about with it 👍
I use Redrum alot, I have used beat map for hi hats and Tom's and claps but I like to program the kick My self.
Have you tried lectric panda's drum sequencer called "Mdsq"? Its a compact version Redrum's sequencer with more steps and the functionality of drum sequencer.
