Wow very cool. Seriously man, these videos are awesome. Deserving of tons more views. I would have additional questions about this camera such as how stabilization works considering that's a lot of free movement and I wonder how you keep things nice and smooth as you pan around or take it on the self stick, etc. Cool video all in all.

Thanks! It actually stabilises all the footage for you automatically. It's pretty amazing! You just swing the camera around wherever you like!

I haven't used the Osmo Pocket 3 so I can't speak from experience but the X3 is a pretty different type of camera since it's 360. So it might depend on your use case. What are you planning on using it for? :)

I'd like to start vlogging with my X3, but the audio/video is so out of sync, it's not useable. Do you use an external mic?

Hmm that's a bit strange; I'm not sure why that would be? I generally just use the internal mic.

@@NickKendall I literally found the issue shortly after posting this. It was in the sound settings. There's Direction Focus, Wind Noise Reduction & Stereo. In order for the audio/video to sync, it has to be set to Direction Focus. I'm not sure what the other 2 are for, but I'm happy I figured it out. It seems to be a common issue.

@@NickKendall The one drawback I've noticed is that you don't want to be in the center of the frame, sitting in a chair, being shot from a three-quarter or side view. The fisheye effect adds about 40lbs to your midsection. :)
