These are all extremely old tricks that have been in books longer than he’s been alive. I enjoy this channel, but he needs to give credit to the people who created these effects instead of acting like he invented them. I’m a 40 year old magician who learned from VHS tapes and books. KZread magicians (outside of Oscar Owen and a small handful of others) do not bother to pay homage to the masters who gave us these classics.

You know I’ve been a supporter for a while Trung so take this as constructive criticism. Give credit to the masters who invented these effects. At least do it in the description section. Bc all of these are OLD effects like most of the tricks you do. You perform them WELL, so give credit. Without those masters, this channel wouldn’t exist. That being said, keep doing your thing. Sincerely- probably your oldest follower (soon to be 40)

I like magic and i'm a content creator, i'm not a magician, what trick are you talking about? And who created it? please show me, I will write down the creator's name as you wish. Thank you for your contribution and always follow the channel!

@@HuuTrung Many past effects you’ve done (flawlessly I might add 👌🏻) are committed to memory, but there are some obscure names to some effects (and more specifically moves and subtleties you’ve done I don’t have committed to memory. When I see them done and I know it, my mind knows whether I learned it from a book vs VHS). Obviously the Tenkai palm was invented by the Japanese magician Tenkai (whose real name was Teijiro Ishida). That vanish and flick out with our index and middle fingers came from him. The grip “O” and reproduction is something I first saw Eric Chien do (only he did it with a coin). The move is probably much older though. That’s one I’ll check on. The floating ring came from Yigal Mesika (almost everything with loops do, all the basic effects like the haunted pack with loops, moving silverware, floating band, ring, etc are all on a DVD or instant download you can buy to this day). TNR’s (torn and restored) are as old as magic itself. A magician called Dedi performed the first torn and restored in recorded history in Ancient Egypt. It’s the version we now know as 2 paper towels, Kleenex tissues, or any other paper where dirty one is hidden behind the one shown on both sides. Pretty cool right? A trick thousands of years old is still being done and fooling people today! You did the playing card version of that trick. The switch that allows the show of front and back while the card is folded is a subtlety added in the 21st century, and I’d have to find out who developed that specific move too. But I will be more than happy to find out the creator of that move and verify if Chien really is the creator of what I just know as “The O” or “OK production.” You don’t have to do it my friend. Edwuard Todor is an extremely talented KZread magician and content creator and he admits he “just learns the moves and admit I don’t really know the history.” Others like Oscar Owen tell history even I didn’t know - we pass knowledge back and forth (been following him about as long as you). Some like Jay Sankey and Daniel Madison really do invent everything they show on their channels (except moves like The Tenkai Palm, Classic Palm, & Gambler’s Cop). I learned from VHS and books before there was an internet, and one thing each did was give credit to the inventors. You’re GOOD at what you do man. I also assume you learned most likely from KZread. Sadly (for people like me), the tradition of passing the torch is getting lost. Others don’t see it as a problem. At our IBM and SAM meetings it’s a friendly debate usually with the older to middle aged guys like me on the want to pass on the historical side and those in their 20’s and under in another. At least you were interested enough to respond! Finding out the inventors really doesn’t take long unless it’s by a modern magician currently selling it as a commercial product or download. No matter what, keep doing what you do. You fit the tutorials in fast and hit all the high notes. That isn’t easy!

@@HuuTrung It’s history my friend. Can’t put history in a 2 sentence comment. Just food for thought. Never be too busy to learn more - for that is where growth ends. God speed and good health back to u! You’re extremely talented at constructing the videos exactly as is. Keep striving to be the best! You’re honoring the art by performing this stuff the way you do 💯
