The 222 rule. Every 2 weeks go on a date together. Every 2 months, take a weekend get away. (No kids!) Every 2 years, take a week long vacation and appreciate eachothers company.❤

I know my man of standing is praying and looking at/listening to messages like these. I know because I am doing the same. I pray God makes me the woman of character my man is praying for. I know God will see us through. We will meet one day and we will know each other. Oh, what a wonderful story it will turn out to be! When you do meet your Boaz, remember to have patience, most of them are very careful in their choosing, because of the way of the world is right now, especially how easy is it for women are too willing give away their body or sell it. I've been single and not dating or anything for 7 years (now at 32 years old) I've almost got too comfortable being alone and scared to meet someone. I get extremely guarded. Praying God helps me discern who is meant for me if it is God's will for me to have a partner. My early twenties I made some mistakes and I've been trying to heal and be better since. ❤

Amen! The only thing I want to point out is the people who care about you confirming. I have people in my life who claim are godly and call any guy a "good man." He could be a heavy drinker, but extends kindness to them. This happened with one of my mother's boyfriends who passed (He would get abusive and they knew that). A relative who would say that, and I would call her out on it. He had his nice moments, but overall, he was someone she should've never been with. So I would be careful with that. Aside from that, great message! God bless

True. I have family members who care for me but who hold a lower standard when seeking character and will recommend someone who is not seeking God. I believe they're intentions are good, but they also just want to see my desire met. I am 43 and single...still holding on to hope, having faith that God has a good plan for me. It has not been easy to wait and trust this long. Pray for me.

“Thank you” doesn’t seem to be enough when it comes to a sermon series such as this one… I’ve been widowed for seven years now… It’s been a “huge” eye opener to be single again at 40 years old. In observation and through experience, the Big “C” church often falls short in ministering to those of us who are single adults. It revolves around a traditional family unit. We live in a “hookup society.” Hooking up is not only permissible, it is encouraged because there in no commitment involved which equals no vulnerability and no risks. Needless to say, it is hard for those of us who strive to walk in godliness to find potential partners. Thank you. Live in KC 4 yrs... at the end was apart of what was probably largest Singles Ministry ever... Met 2x a month. (One fun activity, one study , or spiritual movie etc... 30+ and older... their was always at least 100+ ppl there. Definitely not enough for Christian Singles....Women groups and Men Groups , young married....

@@se5549 Thanks for sharing your experience. What a blessing it was for you to be able to be a part of that, even if it was only temporary. May God use your experience and place you into the right position to be able to do this for others. I conquer 100% (and some) that there is not enough available to singles within the church at large. Obviously, I didn’t chose my fate…being widowed at 32. However, God allowing me to stay single for this season has broadly opened my eyes to the need… and has also tuned my heart to the difficulty of it. Originally from NC, my brother still lives there. Until he recently got married in January of this year, he ran into the same thing…a lack of availability within the church for singles. And “only”singles. I’ve spoken to my pastor about the need. My argument was simply this: “As a Christian, we’re advised not to meet someone in a bar, yet there is not enough available to us to meet someone in/at church.” I can’t help but wonder if a large percentage of Christ Followers who are single do not have and/or participate in a local church because they choose not to go alone. I recall the first time I went and sat on a pew in a church service by myself after my late husband died. It did something within me. It.Was.Hard. Needless to say, I’m thankful that there are those of us who see a prominent need. And I fully believe that in HIS time, God will bring the desires of our hearts to fruition.

I'm praying that God connects my son with the right friendship and one day a God-fearing, loving, and serving girlfriend/wife.

Pastor thank you, I was abandoned by someone who I loved and I never truly understood why. I think I understand now.

For some reason I made a decision to choose this video (you have so many) and God is good because I think that he is showing me something and telling me something specific and in a weird way this is a mini type of confirmation to some thoughts I was having and when I listened to this, someone specific (who I am almost sure I already love in a way that is new to me, and it is a love connected to God and so is this person I love) and this someone came straight to my heart and mind simultaneously and I felt like there is hope and that if this is the person God wants me to work towards, I can almost see a future with me in it, and I am not alone. God is showing me this person, and he makes me want to stay alive. God is busy doing something good. He is demonstrating His love. And He is demonstrating His love through this person who also loves God and sees the love of God and God is showing me my own heart too and how His love can flow in and on and through me in a way that this person has seen and mentioned. I didn't really realize this until now, I think I am going to pay more attention to him and what God is showing me and where God wants to guide me. He is worth it. God is so amazing, I love Him and I think I love this man he placed in my path too, and that is with the love of God- which is agape. Glory to God

Let it go and let God. Sometimes we try to fix it by having deep conversations or try to make plans to bring them back but when we feel our marriage is broken, that's when we should be still and know that He is God.

Help us believe God that You never hold good things back from us, but that You deliver what we need in Your perfect timing. Thank you God for opening our eyes, softening our hearts and preparing us to receive the good things You have in store for us.
