Greetings from Ireland. I was a keen flintlock shooter when I lived in Arizona many years ago. It's great to see the sport alive and well.

Saw this on YT last night and immediately subscribed (after watching a dozen or so additional videos!) The best BP action I've seen! No boring loading tutorials or eye-rolling speeches, lousy photography or idiots showing how to do things the wrong way, just lots and lots of BP smoke and some pretty decent music! Lots of good folks having the time of their lives! Thank you for posting!

Danny Thanks, LOVED it. I'd like to see more of the Camp stuff and the accessories being displayed and made. As a long past shooter, I can say, that rotating target in the end minutes shows how reliable these guns can be in the hands of someone who knows how to use one. It's hard enough to hit a moving target with a modern cartridge weapon, but take into account the slight( milliseconds) of delay and it's a particular breed of human that can hit something that small while it's moving. Well done, thank you. This is WHY I subscribe!!! Stoney from "The Mountain Man Emporium"

I bet it was further than it looked. Video camera's really for shorten the view, making the image appear closer than it is if you saw it in person live. Sort of like the drivers side mirrors on a car. It looks 20 yards, but was probably 40 yards. That type of thing. When I had my KZread channel up and running I had several range tests that were over a hundred yards and used a laser rangefinder to establish the proper range. People kept saying it looked like 50-70 yards. Some camera's just do not capture distance at all properly I learned through that. Better camera, better perception of objects and the overall view. I hope this explains it a bit. I'm sure these guys are shooting far more carefully and safer than it looks from our camera view. You don't take chances where giant pieces of lead can come back to greet you. :D

I'd love to know that too. I'm wondering if there were any .32's in the mix. I can tell there are .45's, but can't tell if there are any smaller bores. Gets hard to identify by video sound alone.

Who cares what others think. Immerse yourself in the time - go where no one is and enjoy it. Connect with earlier days, the wilderness and simpler times. Embrace it.

I remember seeing some reenactors in full costume, showing up at a liquor store on a Sunday evening, obviously after the shoot was over. No one batted an eye as a guy who looked half pirate, bought his case of Bublight. The costuming is half the fun.

Forget what the other guy thinks about how you look or what you like. Immerse yourself as far as you feel comfortable doing. Most people understand having a passion for something, and the heck with those that don't get it. Personally, I've never heard a soul say anything negative about a person in period garb. If anything, they're always fascinated and want to know more or see more. It's too easy to forget our roots and how hard a life it was back then, so people are drawn to it. When people see and experience what that history was like, it tends to move them, not tick them off. Happy shooting. ;)

I am appalled at almost no one is wearing safety glasses. Is it "period correct" to be blind? really guys get real. Now shooters look to y'all for a model so get glasses epecially the lefty shooting a right handed gun.
