Great combos. I like burgundy pants with pink top as well. Love different shades of the same color family like chocolate bottom, cognac top and punctuated by black coat. Inspiring presentation. I subscribed.

Ella, I have recently started on this journey of improving my wardrobe. I love colours. I hardly wear black or white. I love prints. I do not support luxury goods. I don't run after brands too. Sometimes I can stand at my wardrobe wondering what to wear! I started watching many videos by various stylists and influencers but I found that hands down you are the the genius! Well presented videos, with such clear visuals and examples. And super practical tips and not out of this world like how some others are doing it. By the way, the knit you are wearing in this video is beautiful!!! Great taste!!! Thank you!!!

How cute your glasses are! The style and color are perfect. In the future, you might want to get the anti-reflective coating, too. This allows people to see your eyes better and eliminates the flashes of reflected light from the glasses. I wear glasses a lot, and tried this coating when it first came out about 25 years ago, and loved the improvement it made. The early versions did scratch, but they’ve come a long way since then and are now very durable. It’s a small investment, $25-50 US, but I think it’s well worth it. Let people see your beautiful eyes!

I don’t actually wear much black, it’s very unflattering near my face, I’m always so very pale. Even strangers ask me if I’m ok, or whether I have COVID or flu, when I wear unrelieved black. Of course, it’s difficult to have a completely black-free wardrobe, so if I do wear it near my face, I wear extra blush and lipstick and, if possible, brighten it near my face with a white collared shirt, black-on-white silk scarf, or jewelry. Navy is “my black”, but it’s a surprisingly hard color to find. This last year, only that “dark navy” has been available, but it doesn’t work at all, it just looks like low-quality or faded black. I hope true navy becomes more available, it used to be a basic option, almost as commonly offered as black. Most clothes available here in the US are only offered in black and one trendy, bright color like neon lime or orange - not for me.

I know what you mean. But you can always try ordering online from good quality shops if it comes to worse. Like cos, massimo Dutti. They have beautiful navi and great fabrics

agree on navy.. very practical color... but purple is not the most long lasting color, more trendy color . i picked 4 most used basic colours for this video.

I bought several pink and several baby blue items this summer that I will combine with a new grey blazer I just bought and a grey tweed blazer I already had. I have lots of beige, camel amd cognac already too. I ak a warm blonde, blueeyed with Spring coloring. I really like the idea of a silver bag with blue and grey and I have one already. I very very rarely wear black but have a couple of black blazers, black slacks, black silk blouse and black sweaters...it is just too strark a color for me so it is for only very rare events. I wont he buying any more.

agree. I used to love black-actually, it can be played with right jewelry. Now I see myself paying attention to grey- it gives more space because of it's richness of shades. I even see black as one of them. Ella, I was looking for this kind of content. Thank you.

If it’s on my favourite colour is red is going round the shops today and all I can see is Braille. This is the latest fashion brown not for me brown no way red. Yes I am looking for a red blazer with nice buttons on it, gold or silver, and this is what I want to wear I go away in August so I’m really looking round for a nice red blazer. Have you seen any around? Have you got any on show thank you can’t beat red love it I like black as well cream white I never got to colour emoji favourite colour is pink pretty pink thank you. I’m enjoying your program so far. Let’s hope you’ve got some bad things to showers to show us

To suit my cool-undertone coloring, I need neutral to cool reds. This season’s orangey, tomato-red doesn’t suit me, I’m hoping to find some cooler-red items that do. I also love burgundy, which goes on-and off-trend frequently. I’ve been looking for a cooler-red, year-round, fairly casual, knit dress for ages, in cotton, lyocell or other breathable fabric. I just ordered a red cashmere knit dress from Lily Silk, I hope the color works ok, I do love red. But of course it’s a winter-only choice.

Beige and red is interesting. Beige does nothing for a woman so for sure it needs red to look alive. The shapes of the blazers you show are very old womanish - outdated more than 20 years ago because they do nothing for a woman’s body. Looks like I will not be shopping this year. Thankyou ❤.
