Everyone needs a Breitling. Ordered my Ocean Racer (black) strap this morning for my SuperOcean Abyss full black ! Will be nice for the beach and holidays in the summer !

Thanks, did get sooo much wear out of it. I did upgrade a little bit to the B01 Breitling Avenger Boutique Edition last month, with that, this piece will leave but a good friend of mine will purchase it.

Hey Buddy, thanks for the review! I am planning to buy this one but my only concern is those laaarge chrono buttons on the side. I previously have had other chronograph watches and often I accidentally pushed them when I took off my jacket or coat, or it got stock in a backpack strap... draining the power reserve. Is it easy to push those buttons? Could those be easily pushed by accident? Thanks again!

Hey buddy, I actually didn’t have any issues in that matter. The pushers a prone but I never activated them by accident. That said, I once damaged the start stop One when I was checking a welding jig of a new program. But that’s it. The 7750 need a hard push to activate so you shouldn’t have any issue there, no worries

Cheers mate happy you liked it so far. The power reserve is about 48 hours . I normally don’t wind it, just through it on the wrist to get it startet. But it’s quick up if you wanna do that. As well B offers at the moment a boutique edition Avenger with B01 movement which is an awesome alternative. Thinking about flipping mine for the new one in grey to be honest

One of my favorite all rounders. I'm planning to buy one, this exact same model with the blue dial, so thank you for that review.

Is the case also scratching easily...? I like the watch but not the polished bracelet, I was thinking on getting it with a rubber bracelet. Also my other watches have lugs polished / brushed not fully polished.

Konstantinos Anastasiou, actually the case doesn’t scratch that easy, mainly it’s the bracelet. I do as well have the ocean racer strap and with that you would be set perfectly I think. I at least couldn’t find a lot on the case

Is it just the hands that are lumed, or are other indices lumed as well? I tried this on at my AD several weeks ago, but the only thing that's bothering me from making the big purchase was that the stainless steel indices reflected the light too much for my liking. I also tried on the Avenger bandit but the brushed, dull, titanium just didn't do it for me. Also they did not offer a bracelet version for the Bandit so that's a bummer too. Personally, I prefer the matted indices from the Avenger Skyland, but unfortunately breitling discontinued that model. Do you think I should just go for the avenger ii or wait for a Skyland to pop up somewhere? Cheers.

catcat40000, there are small lume dots but as well not behind each number so the watch is far away of being a torch. But you could get it also with regular indices instead of number so this could maybe also be an alternative for you? The skyland is a beauty, so if you could get one go for that piece🙏🏻🙏🏻

William, I would say yes if you use matching end links. Your talking about the seawolf ones? Lug width of mine is 22mm not sure about the seawolf as it’s case is 45 I think it’s a 24 but not sure

its the exact same 22/20 bracelet size. its the professional III but brushed instead. bu when i look at the pictures on their website. they look a little bit different. but maybe thats just the picture?

William, it could be due to the different surface appearance. The bezel of my Chrono is brushed so it should be alright in terms of how it looks. Wouldn’t be my cup of tea though, I think I would get it instead on a strap if you’re not a fan of the shiny bracelet

i am just a big fan of the extra thickness and the bigget chronograph buttons compared to the cold chronograph automatic

Love this watch for its chunkiness then became a bit difficult to go with dress shirts

The Avenger Chrono is great, it’s interesting to read, I sometimes think about flipping mind to be honest, it’s a beauty and not to head heady but the Chrono in my collection is the speedy and I would like to get a diver like the BB blue or the Aquaracer 43mm ceramic. Let’s see, I think I can’t and reading your comment let me reconsider it 🙏🏻

I wore the watch for a while with the ocean racer strap and with the bracelet. I do like both but do actually prefer the bracelet. The strap does wear comfortable but the bracelet is incredible and balances the watch great. In a hot Sommer i would switch it back to the strap though as it’s a heavy watch though.

"Screwd bezel" ... huuummm ... interesting idea, takes the horology to another level. It is a beautiful watch, it can not be denied, although it is too big for me so it is not included in my wish list. As I would like to be taller and stockier. :( By the way: I can notice that you like tequila and good wishky, me too :)

😂😂 true my friend, well, when a german tries speaking English ... How about the Avenger GMT, it’s not that high and should be more wearable. Yes, from time to time I do enjoy a glass, nice to hear we seem to share the same interested there, didn’t like Tequila until I tasted the real one and since them I am hooked👍🏻👍🏻 me gusta, me gusta 😋

Vlad S, in german i Could tell you the name, in English I just can describe it: it’s for switching straps, you can remove or mount different straps to the watch with it as it allows you to loosen and set the springbars.

breitling hat leider seit kurzer zeit die kontrolle verloren und verwässert die bisherige markenidentität immer mehr, zugunsten von niedrigeren preisen und angepassten designs, georges kern hat in meinen augen fehler bei der neuausrichtung gemacht, das design von deiner breitling wird komplett verschwinden, glaube ich, und das finde ich schade, weil es sehr gut ist und breitling lange zeit definiert hat

Bruno Schoelkopf, nun ja, niedrigere Preise sehe ich leider nicht aber zumindest scheint Kern etwas zurück zu rudern. Die Avenger Linie hat er zwar unter die chronomaten Kollektion gepackt es scheint aber das diese bleibt und auch die schwingen behält. Ich hoffe das die heftige Diskussion in Foren bzw auch die Kritik auf KZread hilft den Wandlungswahn zu dämpfen. Ich bin aber schon happy und beruhigt das ich mich eine „alte“ in der Sammlung habe, komme was wolle ...
