Real simple, if you want more for what you’re selling, sell it to a buyer not a reseller. Main purpose of a pawn shop is to offer fast money with little hassle.

That's the first rule of negotiation. Make the buyer set the price and then go from there. Period. Second rule; Be prepared to walk away. A lot of times the buyer will come back with a higher offer very quickly.
