i do no pan when sleep, its really good, bottom part will feel fresh, but for men its hard at the beginning since it will bother you specially if you sleep face-down. but always wear one when going outside or when have guest at home.

Its a little weird to me too but then again I rarely wear clothes at home at all. What I will point out is that it is a little different for girls because of certain concerns so i know for some the undies add an extra layer for piece of mind. After all, nobody likes stripping their sheets immediately when they wake up because the place looks like a murder scene after a surprise early visit
