This one was fun to make. Do you like the new style? If the theme of this video is "little guys", what should the next theme be?
@cerealman2751

Big ol' guys, naturally.
@Kyerishrose

Yes. I like this style. You can do all sorts of themes. Maybe a goblin theme.

RP monsters? Deals with Hags, Nothics dropping truth bombs and trading arcane secrets, phase spiders whispering riddles from the astral plane? Love the longer form content, and 8 mins is the sweet spot for me.

i'd love to see a video on extremely large monsters
"I'm just a lil guy" Makes me think you should have a James Randall enemy.
Thinking about a chihuahua-sized chuull that a Mindflayer pets like a mob boss's cat. Just a Lil guy
If you call anything a puppy, players will refuse to kill it no matter how far removed it is from an actual dog. Examples: popping puppy, invisible puppy, puppet puppy, tentical puppy, storm puppy.
The drawings are so adorable. Crayon!Cinder's expressions are perfect and fit his vibe. More crayon drawings, please?

I think if you ever felt vtuber-y you should use this drawing as the model, with extra eyebrows and mouths for expression options
A lot of my favorite creators employ crayon drawings. I'm not sure what that says about me.

Pretty sure it says that you're a based person
If you ever wanna do a sequel to this video, you could talk about the Rain creature from Misplaced Monsters, a CR 5 Fey creature that can use their Horn to do AOE damage or heal any creature of their choice. Could be a decent support monster for the enemies and it could be adopted by the party.
I love the tiny doll adventure. Moar monsters plz. Now i dance.
Love the drawings, and also the information is so helpful! It gave me so many ideas hearing about these creatures I probably wouldn't know otherwise.
I like this kinda stuff. My favourite in-or-out-of-combat ability has got to be the Gem Greatwyrm's Mass Telekinesis.
I love creatures that are just...mild to moderate annoyances 😂 I think they are some of my favourite! I literally made a joke that I should run a lore accurate campaign around yokai and include monsters like the Shirime (which has no face and likes to flash people it's butt to reveal its giant eye), or the "human faced dog" that just lurks on roads late at night and if you get close to it it just says "Leave me alone" and stuff like that. It's just so silly I think it would be so funny to have a campaign where sometimes, if you stay in a place with a dirty bathroom you'll encounter a creature that just...licks the filth. Obviously there would be plenty of creatures to fight or befriend, but just being startled or freaked out by something is good comedy to me
I think I have a boggle living in my basement
I'm literally writing an adventure with Chuul as I watch this video. What a wild coincidence!
This would make a great series -- interesting Mons and engaging encounters to accompany them.

That came through in the video. Keep making stuff that's fun for you, and I'm excited to see what you come up with 🤘
This was such a fun video and would love to see more. Speaking of nerfs to cool monsters in 5e, I'd like to call out the Skull Lord. In older editions, this 3 headed skeletal undead general had an ability to magically rip the bones from an Adventurers body. The Skull with this ability could then spit the bone shards at an enemy (auto hitting like a magic missile if it was the creature they ripped the bone from) or use the bone shards to heal the skeletal undead summons. Think if the person who was trying to save from the bone rip fails by 5, would take a point of exhaustion. Really cool and spooky stuff. Thank you again for the fun video and hope you have a blessed day.
I did a little dance, it made me smile
This is very cool cinder hope to see more!
this is so cool, love monster highlights esp for wacky monsters
Love this, Cinder! Will tune in to more long form stuff like this if you make it
yesss I love this style! Boggles were already a favourite of mine but I definitely want to play a oneshot or two with all of these. If you want suggestions of cool monsters, Rope Golems are by far my favourite golem because there's so much room for description and cool combat in them. I don't *think* they've ever been official, though, so maybe it'll need saved for a later video.
ANOTHER! i think monsters that go well together would be cool
Awesome video, I love the outside the box thinking on monsters and encounters
Hey, Cinder! I absolutely love the new video style. The stick figure art style goes really hard
LOVE this style of video, keep going man I think you can go far with this
OMG I love this style of video so much! You are amazing, please keep going for all of us!
Great video! Love the art style
Great video, I can’t wait to see more.
Love this kind of stuff can't wait to see more like it
Longer form content on my funny shorts guy channel? Hell yeah!
Love the artwork!
wonderful style, wonderful puns. please more ^^
Absolutely loved this
I have a plan to use almost all of these. This is sick
I'm excited for a part 2
I love the little monsters with big powers! Thanks for sharing!
Very cool video, hope you make more
Yesss I love these kinds of things. I’m such a monster nerd
I love the crayon art style
I have finished your ritual. Bestow upon us your next creation, oh Cinder lord!
Love this format and art! More please. Also have some algorithm
Really solid!
I love this kind of stuff
lets gooooo i wanna see more
I cannot wait to see what else you have in store for us. Also, thanks for the info on the skulk. I'm old school and they are really boring in their og presentation.
Please do more like this!!
Just a lil video, loved it
Great dtuff ! Bring more!
This was great.
I just realized your channel character looks like the patron god of DMT and ecstasy
Now I want to stat up early life stages for the chuul, so they can be run as "lil guys" too. 🙂
That boggled my mind 👉😎👉
HYPE
The Chuul is such a cooler monster that I want to use in my game
beautiful, more
Yes LONG FORM CONTENT

Question would this work. Clown Class Hit Points: - Hit Dice: 1d8 per Clown level - Hit Points at 1st Level: 8 + your Constitution modifier - Hit Points at Higher Levels: 1d8 (or 5) + your Constitution modifier per Clown level after 1st Proficiencies: - Armor: Light armor - Weapons: Simple weapons - Tools: Disguise kit, one type of musical instrument of your choice - Saving Throws: Dexterity, Charisma - Skills: Choose three from Acrobatics, Deception, Performance, Sleight of Hand, and Stealth Equipment: - (a) a dagger or (b) any simple weapon - (a) a light crossbow and 20 bolts or (b) any simple weapon - (a) a dungeoneer's pack or (b) an entertainer's pack - Leather armor, two daggers, and a disguise kit Clown Features: 1. Prankster - At 1st level, you gain proficiency in Sleight of Hand and Deception. If you already have proficiency in either of these skills, you can choose another skill from the Clown skill list. 2. Jester's Performance - At 2nd level, you can use your action to distract or entertain creatures within 30 feet of you. Make a Performance check contested by the Wisdom (Insight) check of each creature within range. If you succeed, they are distracted, giving your allies advantage on their next attack against them. This ability can be used a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses after finishing a long rest. 3. Practical Joker - At 3rd level, you gain the ability to perform practical jokes. You can use your action to attempt a practical joke on a creature within 5 feet of you. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier) or become frightened or charmed (your choice) by your antics until the end of your next turn. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest. 4. Ability Score Improvement - When you reach 4th level, and again at 8th, 12th, 16th, and 19th level, you can increase one ability score of your choice by 2, or you can increase two ability scores of your choice by 1. As normal, you can't increase an ability score above 20 using this feature. 5. Uncanny Dodge - Starting at 5th level, when an attacker that you can see hits you with an attack, you can use your reaction to halve the attack's damage against you. 6. Evasion - At 7th level, your instinctive agility lets you dodge out of the way of certain area effects, such as a blue dragon's lightning breath or a fireball spell. When you are subjected to an effect that allows you to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, and only half damage if you fail. 7. Master of Mirth - At 9th level, you can cast the “Tasha's hideous laughter” spell once per long rest without expending a spell slot. 8. Sly Prankster - At 11th level, you gain the ability to perform a sly prank. You can use your action to attempt a sly prank on a creature within 5 feet of you. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier) or become charmed by your antics until the end of your next turn. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest. 9. Cunning Jester - At 13th level, you can use your action to distract or entertain creatures within 30 feet of you without needing to make a Performance check. You can do this a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses after finishing a short or long rest. 10. Mischievous Mirage - At 15th level, you gain the ability to create an illusory duplicate of yourself as an action. This duplicate lasts for 1 minute or until you dismiss it as a bonus action. The duplicate appears in an unoccupied space within 30 feet of you and is indistinguishable from you. It acts independently, but it always obeys your commands. As a bonus action on your turn, you can switch places with the duplicate, and you can see through its eyes and hear what it hears until the start of your next turn. Once you create the duplicate, you can't do so again until you finish a short or long rest. 11. Jester's Luck - At 17th level, when you make an ability check, an attack roll, or a saving throw, you can roll a d20 twice and choose which result you want to use. You can use this feature once, and you regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. 12. Master Prankster - At 20th level, you gain the ability to unleash a masterful prank. You can use your action to attempt a masterful prank on a creature within 5 feet of you. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier) or become charmed by your antics until you finish a short or long rest. Additionally, you can choose to make the target believe it has been affected by a “dominate person” spell until the end of your next turn. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest. This class combines the mischievousness of a clown with the performance abilities of a bard, making it a versatile support character with a knack for causing chaos on the battlefield. Note to self: Clowns are ALWAYS based off of charisma and dexterity.

It would need more features and more unique features that can work as class defining features very early. 1st level is just 2 skills. Second level is fine, doesn’t feel particularly unique or class defining. Every class in dnd has its definitive gameplay features by level 2. Practical joker and jesters performance both feel like they could just be alternative battle master maneuvers. And a lot of the higher level features feel random and not that good. Casting a first level spell once per day at 9th level isn’t a feature. Additionally, the prankster feature at 3rd level feels way to similar to the one you get at later levels. Kinda just reads like a reskinning of the same feature. And even the illusory duplicate, it doesn’t feel like it contributes to anything. It’s somewhere between an echo knight and a trickery cleric channel divinity, but has no spellcasting to combo with or decent attacks to use. Both of those duplicates are designed with their core class in mind. This feels like it’s kinda just in between but not for any logical reason tied to the rest of the class. Notice how most core class features build together into something, where subclasses help fill flavor. Find the core features, make them feel like core features, and then build out from there. Alternatively, take the ideas you like and make this into a subclass. Considering how many of these features are already on the rogue, maybe go with rogue.

@@CaptaingameeI would strongly suggest trying to just build it from lvl 1 - 5 or 10 first before worrying about anything higher level. If it doesn’t work at level 5, that will impact everything after. I would also encourage you to spend some time looking at the core classes, not to take mechanics, but to see how they give and incorporate mechanics, specifically to make each class feel distinct and to encourage varied gameplay.
I'm using the chuul
Yes
A doubt about the dolls. If I flip the doll, can I poke another creature and flip the creature? If the doll in my body dies, can I get my body back?
Hey Cinder! Do you have any examples of monsters that, on paper, are really dumb/bad, but when used right can make an encounter that isn't necessarily difficult, but is still really fun/memorable?
i like it
Did you draw all these crayon pngs yourself? If so that’s a cool and fun way to set yourself apart from other pngtubers

Good.
Can we have an auction for this art?
What would stop the carrionette from destroying their old body (the doll?)
Fun
What if you poke somebody else with that needle 3:44
I told my dm that me and my friend want to make our dnd characters based on a series we liked he said yes so I picked cuphead and my friend is having trouble picking a character from her favorite show Hazbin hotel to make a dnd character any ideas on what character she could use
If a player Carrionette pokes a monster with the needle does the player now possess the monster?
