4 key tips to improve your movement and positioning on the court | 1H TRANSFORMATION EPISODE 16

Спорт

In today’s episode, I worked with Victoria, an extremely talented young Brazilian with huge potential. While she possesses an incredible variety of shots at her young age, she still has a lot to improve, and that is what we focused on during our session.
She exhibits amazing power in her forehand and backhand, but she needs to further develop herself as a player and reduce her number of unforced errors. Together, we worked on her body positioning, her tendency to anticipate her next move before completing the hitting motion, and corrected some minor issues with her service and backhand technique.
If you're looking to improve your tennis skills as much as Victoria is, stay tuned for more technical sessions and tennis-related videos.

13:32 her forehand looks too comfortable and powerful enough to lead the game. This is what I needs in my tennis to get rid of my stiffness on my strokes. I appreciate you Mr.Patrick for your literally valuable lessons on KZread. You are always the best coach for me even in Korea.

Patrick , you can turn this one into a female Sampras . She has the same natural athleticism and cat like movement with easy power . Teach her to attack the net how Sampras did and you will develop a star that plays with beauty . This one is a diamond , I think you know it .

He has been working on clearing Halep's name. He admitted that it was his team that proposed Halep take collagen (apparently it was contaminated during the manufacturing process), from a company, and he's pushed to clear her name. Personally, I think the onus is on the sportsperson to check out any recommendations to see whether they can/can't take certain supplements, as it's their body and their career; and they know the stakes are high. I think it was somewhat naïve of Halep, at her level, to just take something without considering the risks of contamination, the effects on her body, and whether it would be permissible under the rules. It's an unfortunate situation but I don't think he should be "banned from coaching..."

@VivaVictory No he didn't. He was incharge of Halep and he also decided what Halep took or eat. She trusted him fully. he was getting paid to look after her and her well-being. He should be banned or he should at least have a decency to ban himself from coaching ever again.

Please make a video for kids how to handle/receive/return very powerful balls. Like adult kind of powerful ball :) At age 8-12 the size and weight of kids is very different and skilled tennis players sometimes can't handle huge blows from large kids that learned to use the body weight well. Some 11 year olds these days have weight of 18 year olds and when facing small kid, the game turns to be quite one sided...and painful...
