Which of these leverages GPUs? In the conclusion a comparison of speeds and needed computer resources (Subtitle Edit uses a lot of CPU) would have been nice.

Hi David First of all, thank you for your videos. They are great. I have been using Subtitle Edit for the past 1 year. In the past 2 days I downloaded the latest to 3.6.8 version and none allow me to upload the video for transcribing. It keeps showing Download mpv, which I did but diverts to an error message. I tried setting up an issue with github about it and no luck there. Why has mpv download become disabled under SE app settings? Any ideas? what can be done next?

@@David_Mbugua I did and it still shows download mpv which again I did try but it's not downloading

I have no idea why Whisper couldn't be installed in my PC but luckily other transcription apps did.

Actually you can do real-time both normal and translated captions easily using Speech Translator browser extension. Although it uses a traditional way of translating.

Hi David, I installed Subtitle Edit and did all the things you did in the video with the screen saying the same things. It shows the video I opened in the upper right section, and plays. Then when I click Generate, it will run for 2-3 seconds and say "No Text Found!" 🤷‍♂I don't know why it would say that, but it's not working.
