all those who say 220; is outdated shut up why 220 is still a legend ? 16 litres fuel tank .superb mileage of 45 and if ridden in high rpms you get minimum 40 kmpl and you can easily cruise at speeds of 100 kmph on highways and it's very comfortable ..super reliable engine. cheapest spares ..loud dual horn .. powerful headlights with high intensity and over all a low maintenance bike ..good looks and styling ..all for just 1 lakh rupees on road ..so .. 220 is not outdated it's still a legend in it's segment ..and don't bring ns200 into comparison with 220 ..NS 200 is off a different level, more powerful bike you can compare that to duke and rs200 and other performance bikes 220 is the value for money bike when compared to fz fazer Gixxer etc ..hornet 160 itself is 98k so definitely on can choose 220 over other bikes

I have been Riding Bajaj Pulser 150 cc since 9Years on 2010 I bought it as my dad gifted me When I was in H.S first Year ,I have clocked 1lack 22thousand Km ,I have changed the block only 2 times and Clutch disk 3 time tire 3 times chain sprocket 3 times timeexchane 4 times , after that I sold it on 19june 2019 still Running well and after using pulser 9 Years Riding 1.22lack kilometres I am going to buy Bajaj Pulser 220 again it's one of the best India bike with low maintenance and value for money I don't say that 220 is the fastest Indian bike but the best bike According to pricing and Maintaince You will get Parts any Ever in Indian and Maintaince your bike any where in India

change the clutch plates after checking it if required, will help in performance retain and skidding is in almost every bike with this rear tyre size if u apply disc on slippery patch.

Brother I am riding this bike since 2011 having 220fs special edition colour silver grey and since 2011 first time I've changed my clutch plates set and piston kit... Kms driven 60000plus secondly reason for changing these parts I wasn't riding it much...can say it was kept on standing idle at my home due to which piston kit got jammed and bike wasn't getting the ignition.. . . .Secondly the reason why your bike is having vibration issues maybe u are not using gud engine oil...will recommend you to use castrol power racing1 fully synthetic oil which is in golden colour or this time I've used shell Helix ultra 5w 40 fully synthetic oil which may helps you to keep ur engine in gud state so that I will not vibrate much. Apart from this if u are talking about the vizer screws and rubber warshel's... By the time it happened with every individual bike.. or maybe u used to keep you bike in direct sunlight which may be causing u this issues. Rear breaking issues in rainy season which is quiet obvious as you are not having ABS in it...but in such days you can reduce ur rear wheel air pressure a bit to get more grip on tyres. Ground clearance issues are not with this 220 only you'll get this issue in all pulsars either it's 150 , 180 or 200..so it has nothing to do with only 220 it's for all variants which I've mentioned above One last thing try not to give unnecessary or random throttles when engine is on and bike is standing idle...it will also help u to get gud performance... I think u should spend some more time with your bike to make a better judgement !! :)

All points are valid regarding 220. Used 2 bikes both 220 of 2009 & 2011. Both having same problem but now having the Karizma ZMR... Clocked 45k kms and counting... Still now MUCH MUCH BETTER THAN 220. 220 fans pls don't mind as i used to be a pulsar fan but it changed my mind.... Karizma is much better...

Buddy, do you even try to maintain your engine? This bike is famous for its performance. May it be acceleration, top speed, smooth acceleration curve..it will never lack power. That's the reason it still sells better than Bajaj's newer bikes. Low ground clearance? Remove your main stand. Many other performance bikes don't have main stand anyhow. Brakes: Yes, the rear brake might be problematic but if you know the right mechanic (or a automobile engg who is my roommate), they will give you the right things to do for it. Mine works amazing after changing a few things. Don't spread incorrect or in-experienced adivces. P220F is, and will be forever be my love.

I too have pulsar bike 150 2004 model it doesnt take load and it accelerates quicker than you think i cruise at 110km/hr with ease so maintain your bike time to time it will support you for longer periods.

bro, Just want to ask one thing: Actually i bought new 220 2017, but today one thing happened, when i started the bike the engine started producing the sound and even when i remove the key the bike was still starting and was not shutting down After 10-15 min, bike engine got shut down automatically and after that there was no ignition no display. Dont knw whats the reason, any suggestion from your experience.

It depends on the usage ! Dont comment anything wrong about pulsar bike ! I own a 150 dts-i , pulsar 200 , & pulsar 220 Dts-i. i am riding all three & they are upto the mark ! my 150 dts-i goes on a top speed of 128 km / hr... so u can image the rest two !

220f is awsome. Go for it. Nothing to worry about. Only thing take good care of your bike and don't even trust the service people. I change the oil myself.

I have 220 carb model (2010)no prob at all ..u should try the motul 5100..and clean the engine staner filter..coz of 40k running ur staner filter meybe all most block.thats reason bike "bhari lag Raha Hai"thank me later

hey dude I have completed more than a lack with my pulser 220 with periodic services like changing clutch plates, timing chain the performance of my bike is Awasum, I would suggest you learn first to ride the bike properly then give ur reviews. I use my 220 for long ride at one time 300km in one go with continuous speed of 100 to 110 kmph without stopping my bike on highways trust me Awasum performance.

Except power and topend, everything you said is right. Mine does excellent even after 36K.

Brother I don't know about your riding style, but I too own a Pulsar220 and so far the performance is superb, it has done over 30000 km and no problems. Any bike you buy with such a heavy headlight will have vibration issues due to wear n tear of parts, its a generic issue with all bikes. Yeah, the ground clearance is an issue.

I've been using it from last five years i don't hv any complain at all, ya visor vibration are there. Performance is absolutely fine if ur'e having problems now then definitely u have been riding rough in early times with no proper servicing that's y ur'e facing these problems

The part where he said that power becomes less is right. This is because of 3 reasons. 1.The bike does lose some performance where proper maintenance must be taken to ensure that performance doesn't drop. 2. You have gotten used to the power and only larger engine will quench your thirst. 3. Bajaj bikes are heavier and when you ride other bikes such as an Apache or an r15 you realise just how light-weight they are. But the fact that a well Maintained 220 will beat them on acceleration and top speed remains unchanged hope you got it EXPLAINED!!

My 220 has done 35k no I don't feel like it's pickup is gone. The problem might be with ur service person. Try other service center in mine have company clutch till date I haven't canged. Yes i do agree with wiser nd ground clearance problems
