میں نے کافی تجربات کئے ہیں ۔ سیل سے گیس خارج ہوجائے تو وہ عارضی طور پر ٹھیک ہوجاتا ہے لیکن چند گھنٹوں یا چند دنوں کے بعد بالکل خراب ہو جاتا ہے ۔ سیل کو پریس کرتے وقت یہ خیال رکھنا چاہیئے کہ سیل لیک نہ ہو ۔ یعنی اس کی گیس خارج نہ ہو ، ورنہ سیل کی پرتوں میں موجود کیمیکل خشک ہو جاتا ہے اور سیل مستقل خراب ہو جاتا ہے ۔

not a protection circuit but the connection between cells and the positive pin is disconnected because of rust, if you hit or puncure it, it will connect the pin to the cell again , i already opened the dead 18650 and checking this

@@ELTABULLO It is what you say it is for. This is the CID and should not be messed with. It's an absolute last resort in case a BMS/gas gauge fails to stop the flow of current or the cell itself experiences a failure. It acted for a reason and should not be messed with. Rust is a sign the cell has seen earlier abuse.

It disconnect not because of rust. It can be reset, but carefully and not disfigure the CID disk..

@@weeardguy ..it 'tripped' due to high temperature... I do not recommend pressing on it using blunt instrument as it could puncture or disfigure the disk and render this safety device useless. Best is leave these 0V batteries alone, use new ones..
