This was really impressive, you were able to mimic Ink Potts' style perfectly. It was all really smooth, and I loved the transition from black/white to colour at 2:03, it matched the song really well =D I'm not a big fan of this song in particular, but your animatic helped me appreciate it a lot more.

Man... i really look forward to InkPotts's 5/6 and 6/6, because i'm absolutely sure it would be undeniable great. But their prone to procastinate just killing me, i mean look, 4/6 came out a goddamn YEAR ago, and 5/6 was already half done for about 10 months ago. This drive me nuts, sometimes i just want to make those animatics myself, just like author of this one did, and my respect to InkPotts is only thing that holds me back. You probably know this feeling all to well.

It threw me for awhile, if I'm being honest. I always liked this animatic, but it threw me for quite awhile for who was singing. I always imagined Valentine as Sweetie Bell, and Albert as Scootaloo. But this is a cool look on the subject. Good job!

So for the questions about software, I used Corel x6 to edit and Photoshop cs6 to draw :) expect an upcoming very rough bl/wh animation

On their DA account, they said in July "the next month or the one after". It is officially September, so it should be out any day now. Of course, they showed a bunch of previews for other things that never came out, so I am worried if something happened to them. I think they were just finishing up school. So, TLDR: any day now?!

Lyra is actually playing a character called Valentine. She is the daughter of Villefort (aka Rairty.) However, I could be wrong since I'm not entirely sure of what the creator intended. In the original musical this is sung by Valentine though after she finds out how her father has been manipulating the government.

Dark Sparkle Valentine (Lyra) has found out about her father, Villefort, controlling the government. In the German musical she sings this right after Albert (Bon Bon) goes to challenge the Count of Monte Cristo to a duel. I'm still new to the story so please let me know if I got anything wrong.

Does this has anything to do with the actual story though?
